Since forever

Part 8

It's been 3 months right now since Harvey and Donna have been married and became parents. They are so fulfilled with their daugther Michelle Lily Ross. After so many years they're finally where they belong. The firm has been doing great jobs and Louis is now managing partner. Harvey and Donna have took some time for themself to spend some time with their little family.

Harvey POV

It's been almost 3 months already that I haven't work at firm anymore. I've been working from home because I wanted to be with my family. It has been the best 3 months of my life so far. I've spend it with my wife and my daugther. It was morning I woke up few hours ago to do some work while Donna and Michelle were sleeping. I decided to go back to the bedroom. I saw Donna sleeping. Since she gave birth she has been so tired and it was good to see that she could rest out because the first months with Michelle have been hard. She has been crying all the nights and it's not over yet. I make sure that Donna get to rest as much as she can and that I take care of the baby so she can rest. She was so beautiful while sleeping.

Donna : " Hey you, how long have you been staring?" she said while waking up.

Harvey : " That's a question where you should have an answer now."

I gave her a kiss on her forehead.

Harvey : " You slept well?"

Donna : " Yes, I did. I feel like i'm feeling feeling myself again and i regained strenght again."

Harvey : " Oh, that's great! but still you're gonna take your time to get back on your feet okay?"

Donna : " Okay, hubby!"

Then I suddenly heard Michelle cried.

Donna : " Oh, looks like somebody woke up."

Harvey : " I'll go see her and see what she need."

Then suddenly my phone goes off.

Harvey : " It's Mike."

Donna : " It's okay babe, take it, I'm sure Michelle wants to see her mommy."

She tood up and made her way to Michelle's room.

Mike :  " Hey Harvey, how are you doing?"

Harvey : " I'm fine and you?"

Mike : " Yes, I am thanks. How is my goddaughter doing?"

Harvey :  "She just woke up and started crying must be because of a nightmare because you were in it" I said as a joke.

Mike : " Wow, that's weird because Elizabeth had also a nightmare because you were in it!"

We both started to laugh. Mike and I had always that kind of humor not everybody has. That's why me and Mike got along from day one.

Harvey : " enough jokes right now, tell me why are you calling me?"

Mike : " Well, I heard that the firm is doing great  and you guys are literally the best firm of New York."

Harvey :  " Yeah, indeed. Since Louis became managing partner everything went well to my suprise and I don't regret it at all to gave my place of managing partner to Louis. He deserved it."

Mike : " It is, I knew he would be a great managing partner."

Harvey :  " Okay, so you're saying that he's a better managing partner then i ever have been."

Mike :" That's not what I'm saying. t would be a blessing for each firm to have you as managing partner."

Harvey : " That's what I thought."
