I will not say a whole lot on the movement happening all around us, simply because I do not feel that it is my place. I don't want my opinion to be heard when others deserve the microphone. HOWEVER, I do want to say that I throw my whole support behind the movement. Black Lives Matter, and if you disagree, take a look at the world you're living in and the history leading up to this point - then reevaluate. It's not politics, it's human rights and human lives.
The PJO fandom is notorious for acceptance and diversity, and I'm sure this will continue to ring true. If you're looking for great resources to educate yourself or help the cause, Rick Riordan (as in-character as ever) shared links upon links on a Goodreads post - check it out! He also recommended two books for a closer look at our society's injustices and how to make a difference.
Always remember to form your own opinions based on facts and morality. If you hear or see something you don't agree with, speak up - but make sure you have actual proof and reasoning to back it up. Don't be afraid to fight for what you believe in, even if you're one voice against many.
