Skyler’s POV

True enough, woman instincts do work. I was in complete awe when I saw Ovan talking with perhaps one of the best lawyers in FDD. This actually made me feel sick. I cannot believe that he would work for Ovan as a spy.

“Sky?” I heard Rima through my transmitter. “Let’s go, before they see us.” Sabi niya.

I followed her lead. Hanggang sa magkita kami sa parking lot at makapasok sa kotse. I was totally speechless. I think we’re in danger.

“Anong gagawin natin Sky?”

Napalingon ako kay Rima. Oo nga, anong gagawin namin? We’re not stupid enough to come out running inside FDD and shouting at everyone that Attorney Galvin is a spy of Ovan that easy.

“We need to find evidences.” Sabi ko.

“But how? Natatakot ako, he has a connection with Ovan, he’s a lawyer so obviously he can defend himself. What’s more to it, alam kong malaki ang tiwala sa kanya ng buong department.”

“At ni Miss Courtney.” I added. “If Miss finds out about this, she’ll be very much disappointed.” Dagdag ko pa.

“True.”

“So what are we gonna do about this? Ngayong nalaman mo na totoo yung hinala mo, what’s next?” nang lumingon ako sa kanya, she’s just looking out of the window.

Napatingin din tuloy ako, may mga mannequin performers sa labas, na pag naghulog ka ng pera, nagalaw sila. “Hindi ba, pag naghulog tayo ng pera dyan, gagalaw sila?”

“Oo. Ngayon ka lang ba nakakita niyan?” tanong ko.

“Hindi.” Humarap siya bigla saken, I was also trying to look outside of her window. Napatigil tuloy siya. Magkalapit kasi mukha namin eh. Awkward. =____=

I saw her blush. “Sorry.” Ako na yung lumayo. Ang aarte talaga ng mga babae. Tss. “What we’re you saying?” pag-iiba ko ng usapan para mawala yung ilangan.

“Ah—ano, I mean, diba, technically speaking,  tauhan ni Ovan si Attorney, right?”

“Yeah. So?”

“So, pwede din natin magamit si Attorney. Kikilos lang siya kung may utos ni Ovan. Ibig sabihin, kung ano man ang gawin niya, konektado sa mga plano ni Ovan. We might find him useful to track down Ovan.”

Aaminin ko, she’s quite clever. “That’s not bad of an idea. Sasabihin ba natin toh kay Chief at kina Ken at Charlie?”

“Wag muna ngayon. Tayo munang dalawa.” She answered me.

“Okay. I agree.” We buckled up and drive home.

APARTMENT ROOM. 0123 HR

Ako na ang hindi makatulog. Mukhang hindi man lang ako dinalaw ng antok ah. Halos wala na akong mapanuod sa TV. Pagod na kamay ko kaka-scroll sa mouse. Ubos na din yung mga pagkain sa ref.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto. At—

“Gising ka pa?”

“Ay hindi Skyler, tulog na ako. Tulog ako, okay?” =_______=

“Tch.” Bastusan talaga? Ba yan!

“Stating the obvious ka kasi eh!” sabi niya saken.

“Could you lower your voice? Tulog na mga tao oh!” saway ko.
