Clara's POV

3 hours late

Darren comes into my room and announces are arrival. But I don't want to leave for three hours I have mad a point in hiding in the closet of my room.

"C'mon Clara stop whining you'll like it here. I know I did," he coaxs

"Just leave me alone," I cry. My voice is muffled between the tears and the closet door.

"Fine but you have a minute until I'm dragging you out," he scolded. Geez he sounds like my mother. He starts counting. I brace my self looking for something to hold on to.

"30," he counts. I start to panic. Frantically I look around for something until I spot the bar above me.

"45,"

I stand up.

"50,"

My legs are bent

"52,"

I spring

"53"

I'm in the air

"54"

My hands close around the bar when the door opens.

His arms wrap around my waist and he trys to pry me from my bar.

"THAT WASN'T A MINUTE," I scream

"The conductor was signalling me that we have 2

minutes untill the train leaves and I still need to get my stuff," Darren says

"Fine," he says letting go of me I dangle fron the bar.

"Stay in the closet, let the train leave. Lets see where it takes you," he says and turns to leave. When I think he's gone I drop down. I just walk from the closet when...

"Surprise!" he shouts then heaves me over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN, YOU IDIOT!" I scream pounding on his back. He grabs my bag then runs across the hall to his room to grab his own.

"PUT ME DOWN, PUT ME DOWN, PUT ME DOWN," I scream now I start kicking. People start to stare, but I don't care. I don't want to go to New York, I don't want to go to this stupid academy, and I don't want to go with him.

"I don't know why your making sucha big fuss Clara, it really is a nice school," he says while racing through the carts hallway. I don't answer. I've decided to give him the silent treatment.

When we reach the end of the cart. The conductor grabs Darren's bags while he still carefully holds me.

"Thank-you," he says before leaving.

"So Clara," he asks"would you like down now?"

YES. YES. THAT'S WHAT I WANTED THIS WHOLE TIME. But I don't answer him.

"Promise you won't run off?" he says in a stern voice

No promises but I really am nervous I've never been to a big city before. Actually I had never left St. Petersburg before until today.

Gentley he lowers me down. Was he reading my mind or something or was he just lazy and didn't want to carry me anymore?

"Were you just reading mind?" I ask

"Ha you talked," he says grinning

"What? Oh...Hey don't change the subject!" I say. He stays silent.

"So you were reading my mind," I say confidently.

"I never said that," he smirks. Ha you've fallen right into my trap, Darren.
