Bret's POV

I watch from the top of the building as I'm dragged away from Clara. This time I'm not so sure if i'll see her again. The men in black suits are extremely quick even with me struggling to get away. They jump along the rooftops until they reach a fairly large brick building. The government building.

The men lower themselves and I down the side of the building and into the alley. Then they throw me into the government building through a side door.

"C'mon move it," one of them ushers me along a long hallway. The hall way is painted white and clear jail cells line the walls.

"Get in," the guard opened the door to a cell then pushed me inside. Before I could react the door slammed shut.

"You can't do this. I never did anything," I yell at th guard but he ignores me. I slam my fists on the wall. It was just like the wall in my dream with Clara. Only this time the wall won't break.

"It's no use," a small voice squeaks behind me. I whirl around to find a girl who looks about my age.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I could ask you the same question," she says.

"I'm Bret," I sit down keeping my eyes trained on her.

"I'm surprised you let me know your name so easily," she laughs.

"Well since I'm stuck here," I shrug. She laughs again it's quiet but nasal.

"My name is too dangerous for you to know. So let's assume my name is Sia. I've always liked that name," she explains.

"Do you know why you're here?" I ask her. I geylt my first good look at Sia. Her dirty blonde hair was corn rowed all the way down to her ankles. Her eyes were hazel.

"I bug the government. I interfered with their plans," she replys.

"How so?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Ever heard the old saying 'curiousity killed the cat'?" she asks.

"Well, so far I've been at a military base, been shot in the shoulder, stolen a pig from a crazy butcher, been threatened with a spoon, had my memory wiped, and been kidnapped. I think if curiousity was gonna kill me, it would have done it a while ago," I shrug. Sia looks at me for a minute. Her eyes widen a little.

"You, you're the one! Your the one!" she squeals then rushes to my shoulder. Sia pulls diwn the sleeve of my shirt and reveals my incomplete circle.

"Oh, it's true! It's coming true!," she squeaks. Jumping up and down.

"What?" I pull my shoulder away from her.

"Come," whe pulls me over to the corner and we huddled into it. Then she pulls out a small green and orange pin. Identical to the one my mom gave me the day Clara and I turned 15.

"Yes but it was a family heirloom," I whisper.

"No it's a symbol. It symbolizes the-" Sia is cut off by the opening of the jail cell.

"You," a guard yells pointing at Sia. Behind hi. there is another guard with hand cuffs.

"What is it?" she yells back.

"You are coming with us," he demands. He enters the cell just a step.

"Nah, I like it here. I think I'll just stay here," she leans against the wall.

"That's it," the guard comes in and takes her by the arm. Dragging her across the floor, screaming.

"Stop it! She never did anything," I shout grabbing the gurad's arm, releasing Sia.

"Oh buddy, just wait. In a few days you'll wish you had the smae kindness she's about to get. We need more guards in here!" he shouts and almost instantly, two more appear.

He grabs Sia once again while the other two hold me down.

"SIA!" I shout but they've already dragged her down the hall.

"Sia?" one guy lifts an eyebrow,"that's not Sia."

"Yeah, her name's Jeanette," the other finishes.

"What are they gonna do to her?" I ask gulping. The two guards get off me and leap out of he cell.

"I don't know what it is but you'll have this cell to yourself for the rest of the time," one says before closing the cell door.

And for the 4th time I was alone.
