Clara's POV
The darkness seemed to be trying to consume me. Unlike the soft waves of my coma these waves seemed to have only one objective. Drown me. I tried to swim to the top, but I kept being shoved under by the darkness' dark swirling emptiness. Suddenly I couldn't swim to the surface, the more I tried to swim upwards the more I went down. My lungs craved oxygen, the familiar darkness of fainting was creeping in on my consciousness. I could hear a voice whispering in my head.
"Clara...Clara...CLARA!!" it rang in my ears. Ignoring it's cry I used the last of my energy to try to swim to the surface one last time. My endevour failed once again. The shouting became louder and louder. The darkness of fainting had almost blacked out my vision. The last thing I heard was the cackling of a voice as I passed out.
"CCCCCLLLLAAARRRAAA," Diandra shouts into my light tablet.
"Whhhaa?" I moan
"Finally, oh I was just recording an alarm for you. I was getting sick of trying to wake you up," she explains
"Uggg, I had the worst dream," I complain
"Oh, about that. You've been calling out people's names for the past few days," Di explains
"Like?"
"Well mainly Bret's but you've also called for your parents, me, Jose, a girl called Emily, and him," Diandra says.
"Hmmm, what time is class?"
"Well for you, in fifteen minutes,"
"Ahh, I'd better hurry!" I exclaim
"You don't have to go, they'll let you stay here if your still sick," Di says
"It's okay, I'm fine I just want to know what class I have next,"
"Says here you have Government Issues," Di announces
"Great this sounds just as dreary as History," I sigh
"Actually you've got José on your side. He's the Governor Glory's son," she explains
"REALLY!?" I exclaimed. The Governor Glory was sort of the king of the world. The Governor Glory was original an elected position but the past hundred years the Governor Glory had just passed his position down to his family.
"Sorry I didn't tell you sooner it's just that we that you'd figure it out considering José's last name is Ester.
"Only 10 minutes I've got to hurry!" I cry. I run around getting ready ignoring my stmach's growling. After I had my uniform on and Di had braided my hair was about to leave.
"Here," she says placing an apple in my hand
"But I-," I protest
"It sounds like a motorcycle," she says curling my fingers around the apple.
"Fine," I comply grabbing my bag. She waves before I close the door, probably continuing to collapse on the bed. I rush through Great Hall, empty once again, I was about to turn the corner when I realized it wasn't History it was Government Issues.
"Coconut Dough," I cursed I definately didn't know where to go. And there was no way I was taking the chance of getting lost in all these hallways.
"Looking for a classroom?" I voice says from behind me. I jump then whirl around. Behind me is a girl, not just any girl. A goth one.
She much talller than me seeing as she's actually around average height. Her hair was black along with almost everything she was wearing. Her combat boots completed her creepy ensemble by making me feel like I was about to die.
