The sound of the soft rain proved to be quite calming.

It calmed him, indeed it did, but it also made him think about... the years that came before.

The enjoyable years... and the happy years.

It made him remember things he'd rather leave forgotten—things that sent him into an emotional overcharge. But, no matter how much he tried to keep the memories at bay, some scenes would gently slip through the cracks and he would be overcome by them.

The way those big hands felt in his own, smaller ones. How safe it made him feel—protected from everything bad in the world. He was... unable to be harmed as long as he held on.

And in the end, those hands let go of him.

Everything lets go in the end.

He revelled under the warmth of the sun as he walked through the busy street.

People rushed around him, as if there was only one, single thing that they needed to get done. As if something bad would happen if they failed to complete it.

Perhaps he felt the same about some things, perhaps he didn't.

Who knows?

The all familiar store front appeared as he rounded a corner and he picked up pace. As soon as he stepped inside, loud voices was all that he heard. He stopped, momentarily confused as to what was going on, until he spotted Nico's enraged features. Something clicked inside his mind and he rushed to her side, wanting to know what was going on. Briefly, he caught some words, and it was all that he needed to hear to know what was going on, "-he touched me!"

There were three men standing in front of her, two of which had disgusting grins on their faces, one who had a blank expression, and the store owner was on the side, looking between them.

Oh, how he just wanted to punch the grins of their faces.

"Senpai?" He asked, coming to stand besides her, "What happened?"

Nico snarled, her lips further drawing back as her teeth flashed at the men, "Sexual harassment." She bit the words out with such force, Arashi wondered how she hadn't snapped at that point.

It obviously wouldn't take long before she did just that, though.

"Oh, come on, sweet cheeks. It isn't sexual harassment if you enjoyed it, is it?" One guy decided to act all cocky and smart. He even called her... sweet cheeks...?

Arashi felt his insides boil at the sound of his voice, "She obviously didn't enjoy it." He held back the anger as much as he could, but things like that couldn't just be brushed aside, could they? Sexual harassment was an act of crime, no matter who does it to who.

The same guy switched his attention to Arashi and his expression shifted into that of light amusement, "What's this, a little boy? Beat it, kid, the adults are talking now." He laughed as if he had cracked the biggest joke of them all.

Did the moron not realise what he was doing? Did he not realise that he was in the middle of a diner, with the owner standing right besides him?

"That kid has better manners than you do, scum!" Nico hissed out, inching closer. Her fists were clenched at her sides, and as much as she was short, her presence wasn't something to joke about. It seemed that the guys didn't realise that they were making a mistake in further pursuing the matter... "Get out of here before I remake your entire face!" She threatened, fuming.

The diner owner raised his hands in the air and looked at the three men, "Um, can you leave? I don't want this to become a problem..." He meekly spoke, practically trembling.
