a hunger known to none

Morning came sooner than expected—in the form of his alarm clock blasting straight into his eardrums.

He laid in bed for a few more minutes, waiting for the sleepiness to fade away. Somehow, he felt more rested than he had in a long time.

That probably had something to do with the fact that he no longer had to work after school...

Ah... He totally forgot about that, didn't he?

Nico must've been worried because of his disappearance. After all, he hadn't even announced his resignation.

Perhaps he'll stop by after school. He didn't really have anything else to do.

As the alarm rang out once again, he slammed his palm atop it, effectively silencing it.
He sat up, the covers sliding off to pool around his hips, and tried to stifle a yawn. It ended in failure, of course, and that yawn almost put him back to bed, but he somehow managed to keep himself upright long enough to set his feet atop the floorboards.

It took mere moments for him to hear footsteps come from the hallway, and it took even less for the door to open.

Aizawa stood at the doorway, still wrapped in the bandages from yesterday, "You're up."

Arashi arched one brow at him and bit back another yawn, "Sure am," He pushed himself up, careful not to stumble forward. "I'm also starving."

Without another word, he slid past the silent man and made his way down the long hallway.

The tiny kitchen was to his right, and he faintly heard Aizawa following after him.

Ignoring him, he leaned against the beige counter as he opened the fridge. To his surprise, it was empty. He stared at the invisible contents for a few more seconds, before he closed the fridge with a disappointed sigh.

"You have nothing?" He peered back at the still silent man.

"I eat takeout."

Takeout? "I'm not surprised." Pushing off the counter, Arashi once again walked past him.

Aizawa said nothing to that, which was a tad bit weird.

Turning back to look at him, Arashi spoke, "If you have something to say to me, then say it."

Yet, the man remained silent.

That irked Arashi to no end, so he turned away and went back to his room, unwilling to spend one more minute in the presence of a man who couldn't speak his mind.

Since Aizawa couldn't drive, they had to take a taxi to school.

Arashi leaned against the back seat and fiddled with the money in his pocket. Aizawa had been kind enough to give him some lunch money. Arashi was reluctant to accept it, since he never wanted to rely on someone, but because he was told to quit his job, he was forced to take the money in the end.

The ride to school didn't last long, and before he even knew it, they were there.

Not waiting for him, Arashi stepped through the gates.

The moment he opened the classroom door, all eyes were on him.

"Genzai!" Kaminari exclaimed, bolting up from his seat.

Arashi furrowed his brows at the sudden call out, "Yes?"

"Are you all right? Are you sure you should come to school so soon after what happened?" The blond's hands were raised, fingers nervously twitching as he addressed him.
Hmm...
