i woke up to the sun shining through the curtains. i roll over and was ready to put my arm around joshs waist but he wasn't there. i sit up quickly.

i rub my eyes and look around the room. i spot a letter on the nightstand.

i throw the cover off of me, and get changed into still softish sweatpants and a cropped tank top.

i head over to the night stand and pick up the note and examine it. i open it up.

hey mamas, i know you'll be confused when you wake up, but i have a big surprise for you. remember it is your birthday, again. happy birthday baby. get dressed into the dress i bought you. it's hanging on the door, then, go down and my mom should be at the table with the next letter.

i smile. i go into our shared bathroom and look at the hook, it's a cute little red dress, nothing too fancy but nothing too short. it's thigh length. i look in the mirror and am in utter awe. i love it.

i do my hair, just a simple bun.

i head out the door and down the stairs. i see his mom sitting down, as he said she would be.

"hey, Mrs. Richards. good morning" i side hug her.

"good morning sweetheart. here's your second note." she winks. "eat breakfast first." she continues on.

i nod and eat the food she or someone else cooked. it was really good.

i finished and opened the other note.

hey bub..  

hope the breakfast i made you was good, mom helped a bit. but for this, you're gonna have to do some driving, but if you look in the living room there should be your third present, with you're third note, telling you the directions.

i smile again. i walk over to the couch, and see a little box laying on it, with the third note next to it.

i grab it and cock a brow. i open the small box, and almost cry, it's a pandora necklace, but a daisy. those are my favourite flower! i grab the note and the box.

"Mrs. Richards, could you help me put this on?" i hand her the necklace.

"of course!, you look gorgeous" she finishes putting the necklace on.

"i can't drive, so?"

"it's okay! i knew i was gonna have to drive you, come on!" she squealed, probably more excited then me. i grab the letter. i get in the passenger seat. i open the note and this one is long.

hey hun.

okay so, i knew you couldn't drive so, i hope you asked my mother.

i also hope you liked the necklace?, i know your favourite flower is a daisy, so i figured you'd like it, i better see you wearing it.

okay, for this one, i think mom knows where she's going, let's hope.

but you know the place where we had our first date? the park? go there, my mom will walk with you, after this one, there's one more. take your time on this one. hope you like it.

"okay, so , josh said to go to the park?" i look up and we're already there. "oh" i laugh. we both get out and walk for a bit until we get to the entry way, where mine and joshs first date was. there's joshs sister, Olivia.
