Coras POV.

i heard a beeping and Newt rustle, he shook me softly as we both woke up. i smiled to him and he smiled back before he went and turned the light on. i scrunched my eyes up before they adjusted to the light. Newt came back to sit down as i touched his bare back, i was drawing patterns on it before i sat up.

"Newt show my your face" i said, he turned to me and i saw the purple mark on his jaw, it didnt look as bad as i thought it would but it still looks like it hurt. we both got up and walked to the door pushing it open and walking through the dark dinning hall. Newt and i kicked a couple of table until we got into the hallway with the other rooms.

We saw Minho and Thomas in the dark doing the same as us, waking the other boys up. we all banged on the doors making as much sound as we could, i have a feeling that this is what school camps would be like full of pranks and fun.

"okay so all these shanks are awake now, time for us to get ready" Minho called out, we all nodded and headed back to the rooms we came from. Newt let me in the shower first, i turned the shower on and let the Hot water run in my hair as i heard the door open.

"its me...dont worry i just need to pee" Newt said as he closed the door behind him, i laughed a bit before i returned to washing my body with the warm water. i smiled to myself in the shower before i popped my head out.

"hey Newt...i was thinking maybe, you wanna join me in here" he leaned back from where he was standing smiling, i pulled my head back in before i heard Newts clothes drop to the floor before i felt his body behind me.

i turned and smiled to him before leaning up to kiss him, Newts hair started to get wet as i pulled him in under the water with me. we both stood there in the water of the shower smiling to each other, Newt felt my stomach, i laughed as he smiled.

"Newt it wont kick yet, its only just been 3 weeks." he smiled before he kissed my stomach.

"your going to be fearless like uncle Minho and Smart like Uncle tommy okay...but most of all your going to be beautiful like your mum okay?" he spoke to the fetus before standing back up, i smiled before kissing him and walking out of the shower to dry myself.

i put on some new clothes, the only clothes that were left that fit me. i had some grey skinny jeans with some black boots that went over my pants, with a long baggy black tank top which i had to tie a Knot in to keep it above my thighs. i tied my hair up into a pony tail letting my blonde hair dry into beachy curls.

Newt came out of the bathroom and changed into some clothes that fitted him, we were told to bring some more clothes but there wasnt really a point, so me and Newt headed out to the dinning hall which was now lit up.

Minho, Thomas, Winston and Frypan were all sitting down starring at the wall, the other boys just were chatting away with each other. i walked over to Frypan and started chatting with him, we decided to tie our sheets onto us like backpacks. we were laughing at the look of them when Minho stood up and gathered us all in a line. i was standing behind Frypand and In front of Newt, i knew that as soon as whatever started Newt would come and walk/run beside me.

"Okay were going in, Thomas you be the last and make sure everyone makes it, with that...Ill see you on the other side shanks" and he stepped through the thing the Ratman had called a Trans Flat, then the Next and it folowed until it got to fry pan.

"good luck" i mumbled to him as he stepped through, then i followed looking back to Newt and smiled. i stepped through into blackness, i walked a couple of steps forward before i bumped into someone.

"Frypan?" i whispered out, there was scary silence to this place.

"yeah Cora is me, the others are just in front of us" he whispered back, it settled my heart rate a bit, i stood there still as the rest came through, Newt came and bumped into me and grabbed my hips to check if it was me.

"its me Newt, hands off" i laughed as he let go, thomas came through and called out to minho. Minho made us do a number call before we started walking, there was a wall to our left and everyone was told to just follow that.

Newt came and stood next to me, i knew he wouldnt be able to feel the wall from where he was so i grabbed his hand and walked along for what seemed like enternity. 

then there was a scream from a boy right behind us, we all turned and tried to look around in the dark to find the boy, Thomas eventually found the boy and helped him until the screams just stopped. Thomas stood up and spoke.

"his heads gone..." i knew how thomas found that out, the most disturbing wat possible. Minho ordered us all to run, so we did we set off in a steady pace...Minho also said to keep running even if that happens again.

We ran for ages a couple more boys  screamed and i felt horrible just running past them, we saw a bit of light up ahead and a shuck ton of stairs. i dont know whether it was the dark that made my energy rise out of fear or the face that i didnt want to be next.

we were running up the stairs before we saw that the light was coming from a square in the roof, Minho propt it open, basically blinding all of us. he shut it a bit so our eyes could adjust...out there was bright i must say.

Winston then spoke..."Hey guys whats that?" he pointed up to this little silver blob looking thing on the ceiling, it then flew sideways and latched on to Winstons head. he screamed and tried to stop the thing from going down on to his face, thomas rushed to his aid using the bed sheet to help him get it off him.

i took about 15 minutes to get it off his head, at time we all thought Winston was going to be a gonner like the rest. but Tommy managed to help him out before rushing back to the top were Minho Newt and I were. 

they came up with the idea that they check out the area before we all go out, so they did and they were pretty quick seeing that it looks like they just spent 2 hours in the sun in 5 minutes. thomas put the bed sheet over his head and was joking with Minho about stuff before he went up again. 

it spread through the line to share and put some of the food in others sheets and just carry the water with our hands instead of the sheet. Newt shared with Minho and Thomas shared with Aris so i decided to go with my buddy Frypan. then we stepped out into the light for the first time in ours...it beat down on our skin even through the bed sheet you still felt like you were burning.

this is the scorch...and North is...that way towards the big city area.
