"Bitch, truth or dare?" nakangising tanong ni Cleo

Pulang-pula na ang kanyang pisngi, maging ng mga kasama ko. Actually, kaming lahat. We were all a bit drunk. Unti-unti na akong nahihilo, dala narin siguro ng samu't saring lights na nakakabit sa kwarto ni Moka.

"Dare!" matapang kong sagot, nakataas pa ang aking index finger habang hawak-hawak ang shot glas

Truth is boring. Sana lang at medyo challenging naman ang dare nila.

"Aba ang tapang! Baka takot ka lang matanong?" mapang-asar na tanong ni Moka

I rolled my eyes after I gulped the alcohol.

"Why would I be scared? Hell, I'm Julia, I have nothing to be scared about."

"Yeah right!"

Their mouths formed 'o'. Sabay silang tumango at sabay ring ngumisi. These bitches are up with something, I can sense.

"Come on, tell me the dare." pagdedemand ko, nagmamadali dahil medyo nahihilo na talaga ako.

It's Moka's birthday kaya napagkasunduan naming mag-inuman, sa bahay nalang muna ni Moka dahil pawang mga menor-de edad pa kami. We're just 17 except for Khael kaya hindi pa kami pwede sa club.

I saw my friends whispering to each other and smirking like crazy. Sus, pinag-isipan pa!

"What? No way!" I heard Khael contradicted

Moka and Cleo laughed at him while I stare at them cluelessly.

"Why? Duh bro, it's harmless! And... it's gonna be the best dare ever! Swear!"

"Oo nga Kha! Kailan ka pa ba naging killjoy, huh? Come on, this is gonna be fun. Dare lang naman eh!"

Khael looked at me seriously and shook his head. Maya-maya pa ay ngumisi na siya at tumango.

"Okay game!"

"We dare you...."

Moka paused, putting more suspense.

"Duh, say it." bored kong utos

They all smirked and said their dare right on my face.

"We dare you to get yourself a boyfriend."

My eyes widened and later burst out laughing. Akala ko pa naman kung ano kase nagmeeting pa sila... tapos ganun lang pala? Seriously, where's the thrill in that?

"As if wala pa akong boyfriend no! You guys forgot about James already? Kakapakilala ko lang sa inyo nun ah." I pointed out

James. James is my boyfriend... and soon to be my ex. He's just too nosy kase kaya balak ko siyang hiwalayan bukas na bukas.

"Alam namin, Juls. Wait, patapusin mo muna kase kami."

Nagkibit-balikat ako at nagtaas na lamang ng kilay. Kinuha ko ang shotglass at lumagok na naman. The alcohol that runs through my throat somehow gives me chills.

"Make Aries your boyfriend." Cleo demanded

My forehead creased and my lips parted. What?

"Oh? Bakit ganyan ang reaksyon mo?"  humagalpak si Moka

I looked away and smiled fakely.

"Who? Aries?" pag-ulit ko

I saw how Khael swallowed hard and nodded. The two girls were smirking at me widely.

"Yes Juls. The nerd.... the hottie nerd in our campus. We want you to make him your boyfriend."

Are they serious? That nerd? Really?

"Why the heck........him?" nagtataka kong tanong

I can't... imagine myself with him. Seriously, I can't even give him a stare eh! Hindi ko nga masyadong kabisado ang mukha nun.... kase nga wala akong pakialam sa lalaking yun.

"Because... we know you can't pursue him that easy. Siya lang ata ang kaisa-isang lalaking may ayaw sayo, btch."

My lips parted at Cleo's bluntness and looked up.

"Oo nga... tsaka, balita ko kase nangrereject daw yun ng babae eh. Let's see if he can reject you."

"What's the consequence?"

The three of them laughed at my question. What? I'm just asking!

"Really, Juls? You're asking for the consequence now? Why? You're not doing it?" panunuya ni Cleo

Bwisit talaga 'to eh. Daming alam. Parang nagtatanong lang eh.

"I'm just asking... am I not allowed to ask?" pambabara ko

"We'll sell your car if you don't do it, Julia." Khael answered

I bit my lips and slowly nodded. Yeah right. My car... my car? They really know how to make me say yes, huh?

But... is there any reason for me to say 'no'? I bet none.

"Okay... I'll make him my boyfriend." nakangisi kong sabi

They cheered for me and clapped their hands.

"Omg! Julia and Aries?!? Shet I cannot imagine! That's gonna be epic! For sure!"

"The nerd and.... Julia? Hahaha omg I'm so matalino talaga! I'm excited na tuloy!"

"Goodluck."

I cringed a bit when I heard Khael. There's no need to wish me a 'goodluck'. I'm very confident, I can do it with just a hairflip.

As if that nerd can resist my beauty. Baka nga ako pa ang ligawan nun.

Yeah.... my mind says that this dare is way too easy.... but why do I feel a hint of hesitation?
