Smidge greeted Poppy and Branch, Barb was talking to a rock troll. " Hey, guys" Said Smidge. " Hi" Poppy said, happy. Branch waved at Smidge. They were talking about something, when Poppy's watch blinked. " Um, I have to go to the bathroom, be right back" Poppy said, nervously, walking towards the bathroom. 2mins later, Barb went to look for Poppy and found that Poppy was in the bathroom. " Hey, girl, is that you?" Barb said, to make sure it's was Poppy.
When Poppy heard her voice, she was startled. " Um, hey, Barb, how's it going" Poppy heart was racing. " How long your going to be there, I have to talk to you" Barb said. Poppy thought for a moment. " I'm about to" Poppy said, finishes dressing up and walks out. " I thought you were going to be longer in there" Barb said, sarcastically. " Well I didn't, what did you wanna talk about?" Poppy said. " Well it's about Smith" Barb said. Poppy got scared, " W-What do you mean and her name is Smidge?". " Potato, potato. Well, I don't like how she is running the party" Barb said, upset. " Oh, I thought it was something worse, not saying that it's not bad, I thought you and Smidge were hosting the party?" Poppy said. " Not really, we got in a fight, not physical, I mean we were arguing" Barb said. " Okay, where is she?" Said Poppy. " She's outside" said Barb.
They both looked for Smidge and seen her with Milton. " Smidge!" Poppy yelled her name. " Poppy, what are you wearing?" Smidge said. Branch looked at Poppy from the side and thought, I know this is not going to be good. " It's a long story" Poppy said, looking down to she's wearing the rock dress. An Troll came and said " Queen Poppy, weren't you wearing something different?" The Troll asked Poppy. Poppy hesitated. " Um-I-Ah-I-dress-going to-" " Ookay lets get you home Poppy" Branch said. " No, not until she explains what that troll was talking about" Barb and Smidge said to Poppy in a strict way. " Okay, I'ma take you home" Branch said, grabbing Poppy's hand, but Poppy let go. " No I can tell you what I was doing wearing the different outfits" Poppy said, looking at Branch then looked at Barb and Smidge. " I thought it would be good if I changed the way I dress to the party and I guess that I failed. " You did" Smidge said and walked out.
Poppy felt sorry for Smidge and Barb, but mostly Smidge because of the switching of dresses that night.
( Oh, did I forget to say, that Smidge and Poppy are no longer friends? Well, if I didn't sorry.)
(Anyhoo, back to the story!)
Branch was concerned about Poppy and how long she was in her pod. So he went to Poppy's pod and knocked on the door. " Go away" Poppy said, sadly. " Poppy, it's Branch, can I come in?" Branch said. Poppy wanted to open the door but her body wouldn't move. " Poppy if you don't open the door, I'm coming in" Branch yelled. Poppy still did move, it was like her body was paralyzed. Branch barged in her pod. " Poppy, you okay" Branch Said, worried.
