JUNE 16th
Y/N POV
I wake up to the sun peeking through the blinds in my room. Yawning and checking out the view outside I saw a beautiful sun with lush green grass and rough sidewalks awaiting me. It was around 10:00 o'clock in the morning and made a quick run to the FIFTY FIFTY café for an iced americano and lemon cake. Tastes exactly like the same thing Eunbyeol bought me two days ago. I thought to myself quietly. Thoughts about working at Lee corporation started to fill me up. "Who took my position?" "Did anything interesting happen?" All of these questions were popping up inside of me. I left the shop and went back home with my now watery americano. I threw myself on my couch and thought, what am I going to do today? After a few sips of my americano, an idea popped into my head. What about visiting mom and dad? I hopped into my car and drove off onto the road.

2nd Person POV
The ride to your parent's house took about twenty minutes. Enough time to listen to your favorite mini-album which consisted of exactly five songs. "Moon moon moon moon. I will protect you Moonstar. A monster that hides beyond the moon and devours light." The lyrics sang aloud in the car. "When the moon covers the sun!" You sang along. Finally, after a long jamming session in the car, you arrived at your parent's place. Their place wasn't big or small. It was perfect. With about three rooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining room. You knocked on the door and your eyes were met with another's. In front of you was your father dressed in a navy blue polo shirt with a pair of white shorts.

"Y/N! How are you, my dear?"

"I'm doing well dad." You smiled back at him. He guided you inside the house to hear some dishes clinking in the kitchen.

"Mom!" You shouted excitedly and hugged her from the back. Snuggling in her arms she caressed your back.

"Y/N! How are you? Sit down in the living room!" She walked over to the living room with your dad and sat down across a small, wooden coffee table.

Y/N POV:
Mom and dad sat across from me and started asking questions about my life. Most of which were about if I found the one yet. Which I laughed off at and said no. They were slightly disappointed but then they touched a little sensitive topic. Work.

"Y/N how's work?" Dad asked me while reaching for a slice of an apple on the table.

"Um. About that dad,"

"Keep going on sweetie. You can tell us." Dad replied with a reassuring voice.

"I kinda lost my job." Both of my parent's eyes widened with the shocking news.

"What happened!? You were doing so well! I don't understa-" Mom announced with shock.

"Before you get there, let me explain to you what happened." They both started to calm down a little bit and nodded.

"What happened was that yes I was doing well. Although someone has been chasing after my job for a while now and they finally became more qualified for my position than me. So CEO Lee decided that I should step down and let them take the role. Pretty much I got fired but in a nice way at least." I explained slowly to my parents to let them understand the whole situation. They were still a bit shaken by the news but started to settle down.

"What are you going to do Y/N? You're jobless right now!" Mom was extremely concerned with me. She was worried that I might go broke and will end up in the streets. Something all parents fear from their children.

"Well, I did put some thought into it. And I decided to pursue my dream from high school."

"Oh. That dream? I kind of already knew that you were going to be a NIS agent in case all of this backfires." Dad pitched in. I never ever told my parents about becoming a NIS agent. How did they even find out?

"How do you know that?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

"Remember all of the times where you pretended to shoot a gun in the house? And all of those action movies and shows you watched? We both kinda knew for a while Y/N." I did the hardest internal facepalm. Why did I do that? I made it so obvious.

"Oh. That." The room was filled with laughter. I told my parents that everything will be okay and I will do something soon. I gave my farewells and left the apartment smiling and giggling.

2nd Person POV:
The drive back home was quiet and rainy. Even though it was summer, there was some unexpected rainfall. The soft thuds from the raindrop onto your window was going well with the soft music that was playing along. After a few more songs, you arrived home at eleven o'clock. Rain still pouring outside with a few light sounds of thunder. Thoughts like "What am I going to do today?" "Should I research about being a NIS agent?" Your mind was set. Research is always first when starting something new. Settling down on your desk with a cup of hot tea, your laptop, and notebook, you started to surf the internet writing down all of your findings.

It's been about close to about three hours of you sitting down and researching. Your conclusion was awfully short but it was worth the time. Must be fit, have the fighting experience, and be smart in many different subjects. Already knowing where to start, you just haven't had any fighting experience at all. Later on in the day, you scrolled through all of the contacts in your phone. A name called out to you for a call. Yujin Choi. Pressing on the call button and waiting for a few seconds someone picked up.

"Hello? Who is this?" A deep voice asked.

"Yujin? Is that you? It's me Y/N!"

"Oh! Y/N! How are you?"

"I've been well."

"That's good. So why did you call me?"

"Well, I'm training to become a NIS agent and I need some fighting experience."

"Wow. Look at you go Y/N! My dojo is open but business is kind of slow. You can stop by to get some lessons."

"What times will work for you?"

"Anytime from 8 am through 7 pm."

"Oh, thanks Yujin! You're the best! Also please send me the location as well."

"No problem Y/N." The call ended and you were satisfied. The challenge finally presented itself. But first, preparation. The whole process lasted for about two months from June all the way to August. You worked at FIFTY FIFTY Café to be stable on money. Exercised the brain in the appropriate subjects, and trained at Yujin's dojo. It was one hell of two months.

AUGUST 16th
Many things have changed over the last two months. You were ready for the test. You thanked Yujin for the lessons, you were healthy, fit, and your brain was in its best condition. The next day was your test day. You already made a call to do an interview and test. The table was set.

It's now noon on August 16th. You were exercising every part of your body and it felt good. Everything was in tip-top condition. It was just the thought of, "Is this enough?" The last few hours of the day was spent on giving hopes on getting the job. You ate dinner with a few friends and it was finally time to catch some shut-eye.

Finally morning, the day has come. Your ears were welcomed by the soft song playing on your phone. "눈꽃이 떨어져요 또 조금씩 멀어져요 보고 싶다" Finishing up your morning routine and putting on your outfit for the interview, a notification popped up on your phone.

Eunbyeol

I hope you do well today Y/N

Thanks Eunbyeol!

You turned the phone off and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for yourself. A nice omelet with cheese and veggies. You're doing great Y/N. You thought while giving yourself a pat on the back of approval. Breakfast was finally done. The omelet was great (it included a smiley face on it with ketchup), the bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the orange juice was just. Well, orange juice.
