Two months later

Everything is going smoothly at work and it's all good. Today we had a meeting between all of the members in the Crimes department and the Head director of the NIS, Lee Young Joon, about a new serious case going around the whole country. We all sat down ready to hear the big news about the major case. "In the past month, in cities like Itaewon, Seoul, Busan, Ulsan, and the majority of cities in Korea have had many reports of murder, homicide, or suicide." Director Lee showed us a graph of the cases before and after last month. The line was so low not even reaching a hundred two months ago. But the second line was going up high and even off the charts. A map full of hot spots of where most of the killings took place were also shown. The major and bigger cities that Lee mentioned were up way up high and other surrounding cities had smaller numbers.

"However, these cases all happened this month on multiple days. Which mean that a handful were conducted on that same evening. This is not a coincidence at all. Korea is ranked second on one of the most safe countries in the world. With this kind of event happening, it's a major threat to national security." I nodded and Seokjin started to speak, "If all of these cases are happening right now, you said this was no coincidence right Director Lee?"

"Yes Agent Kim."

"Is there a chance that all of these are connected together and there is one mastermind behind it? With accomplices of course." Seokjin's words filled the air. What if that were to be true? Who could be behind all of these attacks? It has to be a group of people at least. What is their motive? Love? Money? Revenge? What is that they want?

"That's a good point Agent Kim. End of meeting and get to work on Mission Connect. If you don't finish in time Korea is going in to lock down." Lee closed his files and turned off the projector. He has a strong aura around him. Almost like a high ranking sergeant in the military. He left the meeting room and slammed the door behind him. We just kind of looked at each other awkwardly.

"Well, that was a quick meeting. I guess we should get to working and start connecting the dots right?" Jun Oh stood up with Na Kyung and left the room. Mission Connect? Connect the dots huh? This is a lot harder than I thought.

It's been around three hours and its time for lunch. I walk into the cafeteria and sit down at a table with my tray of food. Mission Connect? What is it about this case that is bothering me so much?   Seri sits down with me for lunch at starts a conversation.

"Penny for your thoughts Y/N?" She asked tearing the wrapper off the wooden chopsticks. Her face was just as usual. That pretty face but undeniably stern look can be twisting.  I look up at her and our eyes meet.

"Well, it's just that the mission we are given this time. A whole bunch of people die and how this can be a huge threat to national security. It's a little overwhelming." I finish my sentences and take a sip of the sweet iced tea I bought from the vending machine. Seri pats my back and starts to speak,

"I completely understand that. To be honest with you Y/N, this has to be the biggest case I've been met with. Maybe we should call a meeting between the whole crew and discuss about the case. Plan, act, evaluate, and solve. That's just the formula to every beginning right?" I smile and nod back at her.

"You're probably right Seri. We should take this under control and start out with what we usually do. Plan, act, evaluate, and solve." She smiles back and continues eating her food. After lunch break, we all called the meeting Seri suggested between the whole crew. All of us were sitting at a round table with a notebook and pen.

"So what's up?" Seokjin speaks up while clicking his pen.

"Seokjin, I already said this a billion times already but this is our usual meeting when we open up a new case." Na Kyung says while putting her hand on her head and sighing. She must've been through a lot. Seri opens up the file at the table and searches for the suspect documents. She flipped through each page and placed it on the table. With a slight amount of distance between each page, Seri managed to pull out half the file's documents.

"That is a shit load of suspects." Seokjin counted. Holy shit, that is a lot. Ten in total. Damn. With the amount of how many suspects there are, plus the amount of murders that are happening, this case might be year long. "No duh Seokjin." Jun Oh says, he leaves the table and opens the mini refrigerator the office has. Jun Oh pulls out a juice pouch which read "Pacific Punch"

"Jun Oh, you need to stop inhaling those juice packs." Seri mentioned. Everyone at the table lightly chuckled and laughed it off.

"Are you a juice vampire or something? What if you're a five year old inhaling juice packs everyday?" Y/N cuts in smiling widely. The crew always enjoyed teasing each other about their certain things. Today just so happened to be Jun Oh's inseparable love for juice pouches. "Yah! Are you messing with my love for juice pouches? Why do you keep buying designer bags that you don't even need? Never underestimate my love for juice pouches you dumb asses!" The whole table exploded into laughter after Jun Oh's mini rant. Jun Oh was seriously upset and had a extremely sour look.

No one could blame him at all though. But, his strong love for those juice pouches was a little too immense. "Why do you have to call me out like that? I buy those designer bags when I want too! I'm rich! My father is the CEO of one of the biggest companies here! What are you going off about!" Seri laughed off her rant she went off with Jun Oh. Na Kyung, Y/N and Seokjin continued laughing at clapping their hands in excitement. The air suddenly changed as people heard the clicking of heels, ringing key chains and a loud walkie talkie. It wasn't so cheerful anymore as the door opened slowly. The laughing stopped and all eyes were on the door. "Guys, whats all the fuss about? Are you even working?"
