" Alright Liv , what do you got? " Kelvin a member of the president board asked Liv who was attending at Ackeem's promotion meeting .
" Well I was able to pull in three more promotions, one including Gucci and I booked an interview with genius and hard knock tv for Monday which is perfect timing since he's releasing his lead single tonight, that'll give the song more buzz, now all I have do is push his photo shoot back." Liv clicked her pen against the table looking over at Rhonda who was attending the meeting as well.
" Perfect. " Kelvin held his hand up as Liv leaned over the table giving him a high five . " How long is he spending in LA? "
" It was a five day trip, I arranged his Los Angeles meeting for Wednesday and he got approved so he should be back by Saturday morning."
" That means he'll be back right on time for his next studio session , you did it again Liv." He said snapping his fingers standing up "Take some notes" He pointed at the other members attending the meeting before he left out of the room.
Smiling Liv closed her folder as the rest of the board members clapped .
" Alright everybody that's about it , I'm looking forward to next week. " Eddie smiled dismissing everyone from the meeting .
Throwing her designer bag over her shoulder she texted Ackeem back as she made her way out of the room.
"Liv !" Rhonda called behind her trying to catch up.
Lifting her head up from her phone she turned around to see who was calling her "Yes?" She said with a smile on her face as Rhonda caught up with her.
"I'm sorry okay , I'll be more careful next time."
"It's fine Rhon don't sweat it , I was just messing with you in there girl." She laughed as they walked together.
"Well I just wanted to say you did great in there... Per usual" she picked up "Seriously Liv how are you not head of A&R or something bigger than just being Keem's assistant , I wouldn't know how to act if I could do half of what you do, like you walk in here everyday and do the damn thing I mean."
"Well I like being my boyfriend's assistant , anything else Rhon?" She asked knowing she didn't want her to say the anything else.
"You could be getting payed twice of what you're getting right now." Rhonda said causing Liv to stop in her tracks. "Look at what you do for him , imagine what you could for other artists and this label , girl you know this company needs you to be more than just being Ackeem's assistant." She rubbed her shoulder before walking away.
Running her tongue over her bottom lip Olivia thought about what Rhonda said for a couple of seconds before pushing all that stuff to the back of her head. It didn't sound too bad she had a lot of experience when it came to this music business, labels, etc. but that wasn't her main focus right now at all , she was focused on helping Ackeem get more into the spotlight while he was in his prime time. Taking a deep breath she continued making her way towards the exit door.
