After Dinner the girls and I went up to my room. I was the last one in, I slammed the door, “Why aren't you happy for me?” I questioned with a slight tone in my voice. Spencer frowned, “That was the Exact job Ezra had before he got shot and started teaching at Hollis again.” I looked at them confused. She continued, “Are you trying to make up for what happened with you two? I Replied, “Hell no! I just wanted to follow my dream. I love writing I'm not going to let some dingy ex destroy that.” They all laughed. And we continued talking. Eventually we got to relationships. Toby and Spencer are still together, Paige and Emily are still together, and Caleb and Hanna are still together. I looked at my phone with nothing to say as they all bragged about their perfect relationships. The text from Ezra was still there. I looked at them and asked, “Were you here when my mom was calling people to tell them I was home?” Emily confirmed, “You called me before you got to town so I knew you were coming. I was here before anyone else, she called Hanna, Spencer, your family, and Ezra.” “EZRA?!?!? Did she give people my numbers? Because I have a text from him. And I changed my number.” Hanna being Hanna took my phone and read the text. “OH! Ezra wants to 'meet up'” I yelled at her and she continued, “Do you not know?” I looked at them confused, “You couldn't have not known! You lived in New York, not England...” Hanna kept speaking. "It all started when you two broke up. He and a girl have been spending ALOT of time together.” Spencer Slapped her leg and said, “There’s probably a reason Ezra wanted to talk to her!” Hanna responded to Ezra, how about tomorrow? The Brew @ 11? I stole my phone back and she had already sent the text, in less than a minute I got a great, see you there!

The girls had all left and I got everything ready for tomorrow. I got my skin tight knee high black dress and my white 5 inch heels that matched the cloth ribbon across my torso. I pulled out the gray Hollis t-shirt Ezra gave me when we were dating and put it in bag next to my purse. Then I went to bed sad knowing Ezra was going to deliver bad news tomorrow.

My alarm went off at 6:30, I go up and took a shower. I thought about every possible thing he could say. I promised I wouldn't cry and if I did look good as I did. I got out of the shower and blow dried my hair. I then put on my dress. After I curled my hair I grabbed my white feather earrings and put them in. I put my heels on and I was out the door by 10. I left because I know hes always an hour early.

When I walked in all eyes were on me, including Ezra's. I walked to the table and sat down. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, “You aren't making this easier” I smiled
