Chapter 3: The Entire Truth

Ezra's P.O.V.

Her smile, her big brown eyes. It was impossible to talk. “So, Ezra, why am I here. I thought I was pretty clear last time we talked.” I was speechless. How could I tell her? There was no way. “Ezra, spit it out” “Okay, but you cant interrupt me. You cant talk until I'm done.” she nodded, I continued, “You were right last time we talked. We cant always depend on each other. I've moved on. And I hope you have to, because if not, this is gonna hurt. I'm getting married. I want you there, you're still my best friend. I thought I sent an invitation, but Jackie didn't really send it,” Aria started crying when I said Jackie but I continued, “Its this Saturday, at the Country Club, 12 o'clock. I hope you can be there.” that was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life.

Aria's P.O.V.

Wiping away my tears I picked up the bag and put it in the table, “Consider it an early wedding present.” I smiled through my tears as he opened the bag and said, “I told you to keep this shirt, no matter what happens.” a tear rolled down my face, “You also told me that we would be together forever.” I stood up and ran out the door. I sat in my car and it stated raining. There was a knock on the window, it was Jackie. I unlocked the door and let her in. “Didn't I tell you to stay away from him?” I snapped, “Dammit Jackie! Don't you get it. I'm sitting in my car balling my eyes out. You won. I lost the love of my life. I lost my best friend. What else could you possibly take away from me. I have less than a week to be with my best friend until his wife changes him. Leave me the hell alone. Get of my fucking car.” she was out faster than you could say bubblegum. After she got in her car and drove away Ezra got in my car. I couldn't keep the tension anymore. I leaned in and kissed him. He stopped and he said, “This is so wrong.” I smiled and I spoke, “you're right.” he got out of my car and ran to his. I was alone, I thought I would always be safe when I was with him, but he left me, all alone.
