The demon lord and his armies began closing in onto the human capital city of schwymdel, pillaging and conquering everything along their path whilst they proudly march towards their end goal. Meanwhile within schwymdel, The hero Kaiyuu and his party began their final preparations for the bloody and tough defense against the demon lord and his greatly confident army whom has already broken through the last line of defense which is dividing them from the impending doom that is about to come upon them.
Whilst checking his equipment, Kaiyuu had been feeling pretty nervous for the battle that is about to come but all of a sudden a girl hugged him from behind.
"Kaiyuu, you okay? You seem to be sweating buckets inside that armor of your's" the girl concernedly asks him,
Meanwhile kaiyuu sighs and replied "oh hmmm kind of I guess, I mean uhmmm I just kind of feel really anxious for the defense of the city"
The girl on the other hand gave him a pat on the back and hugged him as a good luck charm for the upcoming battle, before the girl left to grab her sword she told Kaiyuu, "hey I know you're just really worried if everything would turn out great and well-... y-you don't have to go through all that trouble ya' know, like just ease up a bit and keep yourself together, we wouldn't want you feeling shaken mid battle now would we?" then she smiled at him and left.
"hmmm she really is a good girl huh, well no wonder why I love her~" he whispered to himself. Feeling inspired at that point, her told himself, "okay no need to worry me, I got such good allies I could rely on when I need them plus they're all suuuuper buffed like me so I don't have to feel anxious about this" he cheerfully said before giving himself a fist bump on the chest to hype and signify that he is ready for anything.
But that woudn't be the case for the battle that ensued...
"ugh, we can't take anymore of this" An imperial soldier utters in pain whilst resting on a wall.
"don't worry leave this to me" Kaiyuu confidently replies to the guard as he pulls his legendary sword from it's hilt and begins to put himself into a offensive stance whilst analyzing the battlefield ahead of him.
Then he puts his sword out in front of him and charges towards a massive hoard of monsters that are attacking their side of the wall, he slashes one down which is then followed by a dozen kills all done in a flash. He dodges and weaves through the hoards of monsters quickly and single handedly before finally making his move of using one of his ultimate skills in which that certain skill he's about to use is a very rare sight to see due to it's very destructive and violent nature which made it unnecessary for usual combat.
As he was about done with chanting the skill, a loud explosion was heard from the far side of the walls which was then followed by a sound of a horn that seemed to signify the beginning of an assault.
At that time he remembered that one of his party members was placed there to add to the protection of the sector, it then came to him that the party member stationed there was Rianne.
"oh shit! is this for real?! s-she was there right? at that part of the wall, I hope she's doing okay..." he muttered whilst finishing the call to unleash his skill.
Meanwhile on the wall where the explosion came from, Rianne was one of the few who survived the blast which came from the base of the wall itself. She looked around her surroundings whilst she was still stunned from the blast.
"ugh, what the hell just happened?" she muttered while struggling to stand up,
"hey! Is anyone still out here?" a voice in the distance shouted,
Rianne then after hearing the voice, she carefully propped herself up upon a piece of rubble which was once a part of the wall and then slowly crawled towards where the voice came from.
