- Chapter 3 - : " Flash Of The Past II "

As the atmosphere around them begins to feel heavy, Kaiyuu and his party immediately prepares for the upcoming battle between them and Johannes' battalion. With Johannes already building up his power and strength, Kaiyuu on the other hand prepares a multitude of physical buffs and elemental sword spells in order to increase his chances of winning. Though while the two sides stay at a standstill, Rianne decides secretly cast a combination of a illusion type magic and fire type magic wherein the clones that will pop up and mimic Kaiyuu would have the same elemental type and damage as him in order to increase the effectivity of his attack. Then as they were all about done with their preparations, a strong rumble shook the ground ultimately staggering and surprising both groups except for Johannes.

*rumbling*

"HAHA! HOW DO YOU LIKE MY TRUE POWER YOU SIMPLETONS, JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE SPECIAL DOESN'T MEAN YOUR MORE POWERFUL" Johannes cried out arrogantly as he slowly lifts from the ground,

*whoosh!*

"ahh fuck this guy's much stronger than we anticipated him to be, sighh this is not gonna turn out well" Kaiyuu worryingly said,

"d-don't worry Kaiyuu we got this" Rianne confidently replied as she tries to assure him,

"DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU LITTLE BRATS CAN DEFEAT ME?! ALRIGHT THEN I DARE YOU, COME AT ME!" Johannes shouted as he taunts Kaiyuu and his group,

*shing!*

"alright then, let's get this over with shall we?" Kaiyuu confidently says as he draws his sword and prepares to get into battle,

And with that, the battle between the two groups began. Though knowing the fact that Johannes and his squad is particularly skilled which makes them dangerous, Kaiyuu still decided to press on with whatever preparations he had since he didn't have much time to get fully prepared at all. Although between the two fighters the power difference isn't exactly all that massive, this is due to the fact that both of them are not only masters of sword magic arts but also experts at typical magic as well. This makes both of them stand on equal footing, meaning this battle would more or less be down to how many skilled members or allies are with them. Which in this case makes Kaiyuu concerned whether he would be able to win this fight or not, ultimately Kaiyuu decides to face Johannes head on despite the circumstances. Kaiyuu then carefully analyzes Johannes and right before Johannes launches a spell, Kaiyuu jumps back a few meters and launches his own sword magic spell.

*Kaboom!*

"heh! not bad for a novice hero but I'm afraid that's all you'll land on me" Johannes arrogantly stated,

"ohh I wouldn't be too sure about that Johannes" Kaiyuu replied as he secretly casts a second consecutive spell towards Johannes,

*whoosh!*

As soon as the spell was formed, a large wind blade suddenly appeared and was hurled towards Johannes. By the time it hit Johannes though, the spell was blocked by his strong magic barrier. Kaiyuu on the other hand wasn't surprised knowing the insane power of Johannes instead he prepared another spell to counter it, this spell he was preparing was more of a direct physical magic spell wherein the skill itself doesn't use elements but instead by using the caster's stamina. This particular spell though made it very exhausting to use for the spell caster due to it's stamina draining nature, ultimately this spell was pretty much a last choice or rather a on the whim decision for Kaiyuu to choose.

"hah! did ya' really think that kind of spell was gonna work on me? I don't think so yuusha-san" Johannes pridefully stated as he successfully dodges Kaiyuu's attack,

"tch you slippery overpowered bastard, getting cocky just because you've been dodging my weaker skills, don't get too full of yourself!" Kaiyuu shouted as he launches another spell towards Johannes,
