The autumn leaves sway in the wind as they fall to the ground bit by bit from their bearers, a gentle breeze cooling the area around. A lone bench with two figures, one in red and one in pink, talk about interest, life and general knowledge until the person in red pops a question.
"So, you haven't confessed to Paul?"
"B-Blake?! Where did that come from!"
"Aww, you're blushing! Plus, it was obvious! To me anyway," the red individual, Blake, calls out the boy in pink.
"N-Not yet! I'm not-"
"Ha! So you do admit you have a crush on Paul!" Blake pestered, furthering the poor soul's embarrassment.
"Y-yea I do, but I'm not gonna do it just yet!"
"Please! It's July already! We only have a few months until, whoosh," his hand making a weird gesture, his eye filled with discontent, as it stayed on target.
"I-I. It was easy for you! Your confidence is through the roof compared to me! And Steven accepted your confession!" The pink companion blushed even more, almost becoming as red as his friend's hair.
"Hey man. If Steven out of all people likes ME out of all peeps, I don't see why you and Paul would get together?" Blake continued to ramble, his arms crossed as the pink boy looks away.
"L-look man, I don't want to ruin what I have with Paul! He's so nice, wholesome, and he cares about me a lot more..." the fellow in pink muttered, his blush slowly fading, and a therapeutic calmness washed over him as he thought about his crush. The curly yet sharp tuff of black and purple coming out the hole of a backwards cap, as well as the sides of it, the tall and slim physique with a simple white t-shirt and short pants, with pastel purple socks that matches his cyan shoes.
"Damn, that's a huge crush if I have ever seen it!" Blake snickered in amusement, his knees bucked up as both his hands rest on his lap.
"B-Blake!" The boy yelled at his company, his turquoise eyes showing anger as he fidgeted with his hands.
"Cmon man! I'm just joking! And I do want you two to get together! I'm just figuring out how to help!" His delight becoming genuine concern. Blake looked away as an unsettling discomfort settled in his stomach. "Don't get that upset..."
"Sorry Blake, I know you just wanted to help..." regret spread across his face as his reassuring voice explains his stupidity.
"Nah, it's ok...you're like a brother to me, and I just want to look out for you...you out of all people would know that," Blake whispered as his friend looks at him with gratitude.
"I know, thanks for that...you're my partners in crime! Bros before...uh, you know what I mean." The pink boy mumbled as he played with the strings of his hoodie.
"Quite alright, just know I'm here for you!" Blake's grin widened as he pats his friends back, as the person in question thinly smiled back. "What were we talking about again? Oh, yea your situation with Paul!"
"Can we just talk about that tomorrow?" The blush returning to the peanut coloured buddy, as he puts his hood over his head.
"Alrighty, then Eric."
