I am scared of Human Beings

Y/n fainted due to the fear. After about four hours when her consciousness returned, she opened her eyes, it was midday and her head felt heavy. She tried to get up but weakness was running throughout her blood and she was unable to do so. She again laid down herself, and noticed that she was in an abandoned cottage and that there was a cloth covering her body.
She was shocked at first, because the cloth doesn’t belong to her. She tried to remember that how did she get there and when the memories came back to her brain, sweat of fear began running down her face, for she remembered what she saw in the night. She tightly held on to the cloth, praying that someone from her school will come and save her, but it was useless.
Back there at the camping place, Angelina handled the matter very cunningly.
“Teacher! She must have gone back to her home. She was not feeling well here. I saw her going back last night.”
Everyone was surprised because there was the suitcase of y/n and other belongings in the camp. They tried to call her, but there was no network around that could help them!
The teachers were quite worried but when Angelina assured them, they decided to wait for y/n to come back, or they will leave her luggage there if she doesn’t come back.
While on the other hand, y/n was scared by what she saw last night. She saw a boy of her age, but the way of she encountered him was not good enough to let her know the gorgeousness of that boy!
She was holding the mobile torch, when she was trying to get up after falling. At the same time that boy also laid down as he was also scared from “HUMAN BEINGS!” When y/n was trying to get up, the torch light was so close to the face of the boy, that it seemed more like a ghost than a handsome man and she screamed as it was nearly midnight and she was alone!
Now, she was feeling thirsty but there was no water around. Then she remembered the lake. She tried to get up and go to the lake, but all in vain. She heard some footsteps. Y/n wanted to scream but she didn’t. She covered her face with the cloth and tightened her grip on it.
“Are you okay now?”
A soft voice spoke up. Y/n thought;
“His voice is so sweet; he can’t be the one I saw last night. Shall I see him? What if he is the same devil?”
Her mind was crowded by these thoughts when she felt a touch on the cloth, and the hand exposed her face and her eyes met his eyes. It felt as the surrounding has stopped, as if something big is coming.
There was a deep silence for 5 minutes; the only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind through the leaves, the chirping of the birds and the shiny smile of the sun.
“Who are you? Where do you come from? What do you want? Please let me go!”
Y/n asked all this in one breath, while sweat was pouring down her face. The boy took out his handkerchief and cleaned her sweat.
“I am Taetae, from Moon and I am lost here.”
“Are you an alien?”
“What is an alien?”
“Huh?! How do you get here?”
“My plane got crashed here!”
He sighed!
“No one came to help me; human beings are so cruel!”
He started to cry.
“Yaah! Do not cry. I will help you. But how is it possible that you are from the moon?”
“I am the Moon Prince. My father is the king and my mom is the queen. I was happily playing there with my friends when father one day told me that I have grown up now, and I have to carry out a mission of spreading love. I was ready to go but when he told me that I am suppose to go on Earth, I resisted. But he didn’t listen to me and ordered me to go. I was about to land when my plane engine stopped working and it resulted in a crash. I got several injuries too, but the moonlight helped me treat the wounds.”
Y/n looked carefully at him, and figured out that there was no sign of the wounds. She was shocked and surprised at the same time. She was not in the state to ask more questions. She thought he is drunk;
“I want water!”
“Wait right here, I will bring some for you.”
He stood up and hurried to get some water. He came back with a water bottle.
“Where did you get this?”
“I found some luggage close to the lake. It was there along with the cloths.”
Y/n was so shocked to hear that, as it was her water bottle, but how can it be there by the side of the lake. She left it in her camp.
“How is this possible?”
“If you don’t trust me, you can go and see it yourself.”
“I have to go right now. Pleased to meet you Taetae. Bye.”
Y/n left and Taetae stood there with the bottle in his hands and tears rolling down his cheeks. Y/n was so busy thinking about how her luggage came there, she went to the lake and saw her suitcase, and other stuff placed there, some was ruined while the other was fine.
She began to pick it up, and decided to go back to the camping place but when she returned there, she found an empty ground, there was nothing, the school camping team had moved ahead.  She was lost there. She was unable to figure out what to do.
“Oh God! I was kicked out of my home, and now I am again left alone! Why you always do this with me… WHYYYY!”
Y/n cried hard in pain and sat there on the ground, with her belongings spread close to her. She unconsciously slept and the time passed. She woke up after a few hours, her eyes still wet with tears.
Meanwhile when she left the cottage, tears escaped Taetae’s eyes, and he slept without knowing. When he woke up he felt pain in his heart. He got up and started searching for Y/n.
“That idiot girl didn’t even tell me her name. Aish! I will teach her manners once I meet her again.”
As he was talking to himself, he followed the path to the lake but was unable to find anything there. He then found a piece of torn cloth that was stuck in the thorny bushes. It was the same cloth that he put on Y/n last night to cover her up.
He got a clue that she went to which direction. He followed his intentions and came to the same ground where Y/n was sitting in despair, staring at the ground and tears falling down her eyes. He sat down and tried to calm her down.
“What happened? Has someone hurt you? Why are you sitting here? Why are you crying? Is there pain in your heart?”
“Everyone has left me alone, here with pain, despair, disappointment, tears and discouragement.”
She cried like a baby.
“Please do not cry, don’t let the tears go down your eyes that much easily, it is not worth crying for those who left you.”
“What should I do? Huh? Tell me? Where am I supposed to go? I got no home, I got no family, I got no friends. Dammit my life is a mess. My life is completely ruined. I AM IN SUCH A MISERABLE STATE!”
“It’s not like what you are thinking. First stop crying. I think I know where you should live.”
“What do you mean?”
“You can share my cottage with me.”
“YOUR COTTAGE?!”
“Actually it was abandoned, and it was me who found it first, we both are in a miserable state right now. So there is no other way.”
Y/n remained silent for a moment, and then stood up,
“Let’s go!”
“Where?”
“To the cottage, later we have to figure out the way out of this jungle too.”
“Wow, that means we will live together now?!”
He asked with a bright smile on his face.
“Don’t smile like that.”
“Why?!”
“Let’s go now, or we will be out of time. It will be night soon.”
“I am feeling hungry.”
“I have something for you. Now hurry up!”
Tae took her suitcase, while Y/n carried her other stuff and they went to the cottage.
“Okay now let’s clean it first and make a place to sleep!”
“How will we clean it?”
“Do you know the bushes that were with the lake? Some of them can be used to make a broom. Go and bring some.”
“Oh wait for 5 minutes; I am bringing them right now.”
He went to collect the bushes, while y/n took off her hoodie and started cleaning the mess. She used a stick to clean the cobwebs and then arranged the disassembled furniture, although not in a good state, but it was comfortable enough to be used. She used some old cloths of her to clean the dust and before Taetae came back the cottage was looking like a well-managed home.
He gave the bushes to her and she made two brooms, then both of them cleaned the cottage and after 3 hours of struggle the cottage was comfortable enough to live in.
Y/n used the camping material to serve as their bed, and they went to collect some woods for fire. After igniting the woods, she took out some instant noodles that she took along with her while leaving the home, as she knew that they will help her ahead.
She cooked them and went to the lake to take a bath. (Lol I just remembered an old movie scene)
As she stepped in the water, Tae came running towards her;
“Yaah! What did you do to the fire the snakes are coming out of the pot?!”
“Get the heck away, STUPID I am taking a bath, can’t you see?”
“What if those snakes eat me? Is my life not important?”
“Those are not snakes you IDIOT!”
“Then how can they come up and down the pot themselves?”
“They are boiling! NOW GO I AM COMINGGG!”
“I won’t go, I am sitting here, I will not see anything, you take a bath and then we will both go back to our home.”
“Turn your back around.”
She took a bath and then put on her cloths as fast as she could, they then returned back to the home. The noodles were almost done, along with the meat balls too.
“Hmm! They smell nice!”
“I never knew that Human Beings eat snakes!”
“These are not snakes-“
Before she could complete her sentence, Taetae came hiding behind her with the chopsticks in his hand,
“Shoo! Get away you snake, don’t say anything to my friend here!”
“What are you doing Tae?”
“I am requesting the snake, not to hurt you.”
Y/n smiled and made him sit comfortable. She then served the noodles;
“Let’s eat!”
“I don’t eat snakes!”
“These are Noodles, not snakes. Try some.”
He hesitated;
“You trust me? Right? Eat some!”
And he tasted the noodles;
“They taste good!”
“See I told ya!”
“Can I have some more after this?”
“Yes.”
“What is your name?”
“Y/n, you can call me Moon. It is my nick name!”
“Ahh! Moon, my best friend forever!”
“Huh?!”
“You don’t look cruel like what I have heard about the human beings, that is why I want us to be friends forever.”
“Okay, let’s talk about it. How do you get here?”
“I have already told you the whole thing.”
“Look, I am not having any psychological issue, so that means I will not believe you. You can trust me and tell me the truth.”
“I never lie! I have already told you the truth.”
“AAh! Ok that means I have to accept it.”
“What?!”
“See, do not tell anyone else what you told me about you. Ok?”
“Then what will I tell them?”
“Tell them that you are from some other country.”
“You want me to lie to others?”
“It is to protect you. If what you are saying is true, then most of the country’s scientists will be in search of you, and this could be dangerous for you and your life. Once I manage to get an apartment in the city, then we will figure out the way to send you back to your home. Ok?”
“Thank you so much for trusting me and protecting me. I don’t know that what good deed I did in my previous life.”
“Why?”
“I got a best friend like you!”
She added more noodles to his bowl. It was almost night when they finished talking.
“Come on let me show you something beautiful.”
“What?”
“Come on!”
She followed him to the lake.
“Sit here.”
They sat at the shore.
“Moon, now observe the sky carefully.”
“There are a lots of bright stars decorated beautifully in the sky. They are glittering with happiness. AAH everyone have something to be happy about, my life is so messy.”
Y/n sighed.
“Actually you are wrong. I have no Moon! You can notice the stars, but do you know that the moon is the main thing that is responsible for the beauty of night. I can make it appear in the sky if I want, but I can’t convey my feelings up there.”
“How can you make the moon appear?”
“Wait!”
Taetae pointed his finger to a particular direction in the sky and in a blink the Moon appeared. Y/n stood up. She was fascinated by what she just saw.
“I can’t believe it. The moon looks so beautiful up there.”
“But you know what,” he said as he stood up too, “the moon that is here with me is more important than the one up there.”
Y/n remained still after hearing what Taetae said.
“You are making me feel embarrassed.”
“Let’s go back to home, it’s dangerous at this hour of night.”
They returned back.
“Moon, you sleep on that mountain and I will sleep on the floor. Ok?”
“What mountain?”
“This stuff,” he said while pointing to the Sofa that was in its worst state but comfortable enough to sleep upon.
“It is called a sofa, not a mountain.”
“You sleep and I will guard you.”
“There is no need to, let’s just sleep.”
She took out her MP3 and played the lullaby that she always hears to. She was about to sleep, when a soft hand came caressing her hair;
“Don’t you ever leave me, don’t you ever go Moon. I feel secured with you, even though I don’t know you, but I feel so comfortable around you.”
