Shifting to the new home

The sun rays shone through the window directly on the face of Y/n. Taetae was already awake. He stood in front of the window to block the rays from shining on the face of Y/n. But the alarm clock served the purpose to wake her up. It was 8 am. As soon as the alarm clock struck 8 am, it started ringing.

“MOON, HELP!”
Taetae jumped up and down, screaming and shouting. Y/n woke up in a hurry as if there is an earthquake out there.
“What happened?”
She asked after realizing that nothing has happened.
“This little monster will eat me!”
“What monster?!”
He pointed to the alarm clock.
“Are you talking about this?” she picked up the clock and asked him.
“Put that down, it looks cute but it is not. It will eat you up too. Get away from it.”
“What?!”
“It was ringing itself, it was saying that get away or else I will eat you. Its ears were also vibrating.”
“It is called an alarm clock.”
“Why does it has eyes?”
“That is just a decoration.”
“Are you sure it won’t hurt me?”
“Yes, now go and change your cloths. We have to get to the city. We will then have some breakfast and I also have to talk to the manager about increasing my wages. I hope she will help me!”
“Will we shift to a new home?”
“As soon as I will find a new one, we will shift.”
“Aah but I have no other cloths than this.”
“Oh, don’t worry. First let’s go and buy you some new cloths.”
“Will you buy me new cloths?”
“Sure we will buy you some new cloths. Hurry up now, let’s go!”
She took her backpack with her, placed some essential stuff and they went out to figure out the way out of the jungle.
“So, will you continue your school?”
“Yes, of course.”
They found the way back to the city after walking for half an hour and Y/n went to the nearest shop to recharge her cell phone. They then took a bus and went to the grocery shop where Y/n was working on a part-time.
“Welcome Y/n.”
“Thank you Onnie.”
“You have brought a guest with you.”
“Yes.”
Y/n pointed Taetae to sit in a corner and she went to change her uniform and came back to do her work. She arranged the stuff and was rechecking the delivery when she heard a loud scream. She went to see what happened;
“Yaah! What are you doing up there?”
“I am trying to get these circles.”
“What circles?”
When Y/n went to check the delivery, Tae started roaming around in the mart, he saw a young boy eating ring snacks, and he wanted to taste them too. He began to find them in the shop. The snacks were present up there on the top shelf. He tried to get them by jumping up and down but it was too high for him to get one. Hence he started climbing the shelf instead of using the steps; he got up and took one pack of the snacks but was unable to come back down. Thus, he started screaming.
Y/n saw the snacks and understood that he is calling them circles.
“Just stay still and I will get you back down, and then I will get you your circles as well.”
He was so excited after hearing this that he jumped down and fell on Y/n.
“Are you ok? I am sorry, I have hurt you. I am so sorry.”
He began to cry in embarrassment and sat down. Y/n got up and smiled;
“You haven’t hurt me and never ever cry again for small things. You want your circles?”
He stared at Y/n with puppy eyes with a small cute boxy smile decorated on his face. Y/n gave him the snacks along with some juice.
He opened the snacks and placed the ring snacks on his fingers and then ate them all and took a sip and laughed.
“Y/n, are you sure he is mentally ok?”
“Onnie, he is ok. Don’t worry.”
“Ahh!”
“I have to tell you something onnie.”
Y/n told the manager everything;
“I see, I know a room that you can afford to live in. Moreover I will increase your wages too. This is only what I can do for you.”
“Thank you so much Onnie.”
Y/n hugged her while a tear ran down her face.
It was 4 pm and it was time to go.
“Tae, Let’s go and buy you some cloths.”
“Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! Moon I am so happy.”
They went to the nearby shop to buy some cloths. Y/n selected the shirts and asked Tae to change so that they can analyze it. Tae changed the dress and came back.
“Oh My Goodness! Tae you are looking so handsome.”
“Really?!”
“Yes, you can see it yourself in the mirror.”
She turned him around and he screamed thus gaining the attention of other customers, then he came running and hid himself behind Y/n.
“Moon, there is someone like me standing there and he is trying to copy me.”
“It is your reflection.”
“What?!”
“A mirror shows you yourself. Don’t be afraid. You are strong, Right?”
“Huh.”
He stood up and tried to act cool but he was unable to hide his fear as the sparkling twinkles began to release from his fingers and it was clear that he was scared of the mirror. Everyone in the shop was confused that what is going on. No one knew that what the source of these shiny things was. Y/n knew that it could be harmful for him.
“Tae, if you stop being afraid of the mirror I will buy you two circle snacks.”
“Really?!”
“Yes, now smile and laugh.”
It worked and he smiled, thus eliminating his fear and the shiny twinkles disappear. Thus, Y/n now understood that when Tae is afraid, these twinkles began to release from his fingers all by himself as a symbol that he is scared of something. They bought dresses for Tae and Y/n stole some time to buy him his ring snacks too and then they went back to the forest.
“We have to pack our stuff and go back to the city before sun goes down.”
“Have you found a home there in the city?”
“Yes, and it is better than this one, it is on the roof top, we will be able to see the moon everyday from up there, it has furniture too, there will be some neighbors as well and we will also be able to live more comfortably.”
“I am so excited to go there. Let’s pack everything quickly.”
When they left their cottage it was 5 30 pm and they reached the city by 6 30 pm. The sun went down and they reached the address where they were supposed to go. The room owner unlocked the door and seeing a sofa there Tae went up straight, threw the luggage on the floor and started jumping on it.
“Moon, see there is a mountain here too!”
The room owner stared at him with her mouth opened and Y/n smiled at her as if she wanted to say that I don’t know this person.
“I hope you will manage the house well dear.”
“Yes, thank you so much ma’am.”
“Ah the roof top is a good place to lie down if you feel stressed, and please make sure not to make too much noise or other neighbors will complain.”
Y/n bowed in accepting the advice, the owner left and Y/n locked the door.
“Listen Tae, you sleep or sit at one side, I will clean the home and we will then eat. Ok?”
“I will assemble our things in the room.”
“OK.”
After a work of half an hour, the house was completely assembled. Y/n prepared the food while Taetae sat on the sofa. His eyes fell on the remote of the TV. He picked it up and randomly pressed the buttons. When the power button was pressed the Television turned on and Tae almost startled. He wanted to scream but he thought that every time I scream and Moon tells me the true thing, let me figure it out myself this time.
He stood up and started walking towards the TV. He stopped blinking his eyes. It was the cooking show. Tae thought it is real.
“Give me some after it is cooked, Ok?”
“Then we will add sauce to the pasta.” (The chef in the TV said)
“That sauce looks like blood, don’t add it please. I will not eat it if you add that.”
The Chef in the TV smiled in the camera.
“Ah, that means you are not adding it.”
But the Chef added the Sauce and upon seeing this, Tae stood up and began to cry.
“You are a liar; you said you won’t add that bloody sauce and you did. I DON’T WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND.”
Y/n came running from the kitchen after hearing the cries of Tae to see what has happened. Tae was sitting close to the TV and the tears were falling down his eyes.
“I won’t make you my friend. I won’t. I hate liars.”
He was cleaning his eyes with his palm and his fingers curled and his hair covering half his eyes. Y/n was unable to get what is going on. She went up to Tae and placed her hand on his shoulder thus making him calm down.
“What happened?”
“She lied to me.”
“Who lied to you?”
“This woman, she said she will add the sauce in the pasta and I asked her not to for I won’t eat it then. But even then she added.”
“Tae, she cannot hear you.”
“Then why she smiled at me?”
“My dear Tae, she was smiling at the camera, not at you.”
“I didn’t get what you are trying to say.”
“Wait, give me the remote.”
Tae handed over the remote to Y/n.
“This is the power button, the red one; it turns the television on and off,” she said while pointing out to the red one, “and these buttons over here will move the channel backward and forward,” she pointed to the buttons again for clear understanding, “and these buttons over here will turn the volume up and down.”
“So-“
“Listen to me first,” she said while cutting him down, “now this television over here is a machine that will show you any type of thing you want to see. It is behind the camera, it is not in front of you, they cannot see you but we can.”
“You mean to say it is virtual?”
“Yes, you are right. It is virtual and don’t try to talk to them as they can’t hear or see you and if anyone other than me sees you doing this they will think that you are psycho and maybe they will harm you to. As I told you before that you are not supposed to tell anyone that where did you come from? Ok?”
“Moon, thank you so much, I thought that all humans are cruel but you are just like an angel. Don’t leave me ever. I want to be your friend forever.”
“I will be there for you anytime you need me. Now I have to teach you some basic things of human world but first let’s go eat something.”
“Ok.”
After having dinner, Y/n started washing the dishes but Tae went to the roof top. He remained there staring at the moon for very long time. Y/n came there as well and sat down with him busy on her phone searching for some new jobs.
“Moon, I see you in there.”
“Where?”
“In the real moon.”
She stopped and shut her phone down. Everyone loves their home, just like you do.
“Where is your home?”
Y/n remained in a trance for a moment but then she told him the entire story.
“Your foster mom is so brutal, just like humans are. Aah don’t you worry moon I will take revenge on her for this.”
“No, good people never take revenge. Well, I was thinking that what will you do after I will go to school tomorrow?”
“You mean I will be alone in this home?”
She said yes in a soft voice.
“Moon, I told you not to leave me. Just take me with you. I promise I won’t disturb you. I promise.”
His voice already started cracking.
“We will see in the morning. Let’s go to sleep now.”
*Time Skips*
Y/n woke up and started to get ready for school. She made sure that’s he didn’t make any noise so that Tae didn’t get to know that she is going to school. She locked the door and went to the school.
She entered the class and everyone was so shocked to see her. She didn’t say anything to anyone and sat down on her place.
Yoongi was as usual sleeping beside her and she was as usual sitting quietly, but searching for new jobs in her phone.
The teacher entered the class;
“Students we got a new student here.”
Y/n was still busy scrolling through her phone.
“Student please introduce yourself.”
“Hello everyone, my name is Tae and I am from Moon’s home.”
Y/n stood up with her eyes fully opened and her phone dropped down,
