Nightmare leaned on his mother looking up at the purple leaves of his side of the tree. The golden apples that hung on the other side were so beautiful... So different from his. A sound was heard, something had hit the tree. He looked to his left, where the sound had come from. Another projectile hit the tree. He stood up to go and investigate when he was suddenly hit in the face with a rock. The rock made him stumble back a bit. He literally got out of the hospital five months ago. He shouldn't be going back again for months. While he was deep in his thoughts, he was suddenly hit behind. He fell down to the ground holding his head. The villagers that were throwing rocks and other items were slowly making their way up the hill the tree resided on. The villager behind Night gave him the most menacing look she could muster before raising the wood above her head and crashing it onto his. Nightmare screamed in pain as the monster repeatedly hit him with wood. Nightmare attempted to crawl away. Luckily, the villager stopped to talk to the other monsters. Nightmare got up quickly and ran to the tree and climbed up it. "What are you doing?!" His mother yelled at him. "GET DOWN!!" The villagers yelled. Not that Nightmare wouldn't listen. He held his head that had been bleeding the whole time. A big hole at the back and spiderweb cracking around the back of his head. He accidentally touched Dream's side which almost corrupted the whole of his side. Nightmare started snatching the apples and eating them liquid negativity started oozing out of his eyes, nose, and mouth. The liquid slowly started coating his body. Dream watched the whole thing go down from afar, he quickly rushed to the tree. He grabbed the remaining golden apples and ate them.

TIMESKIP

Nightmare was deep in thought, he was thinking about the events that lead to him becoming corrupted. Dream was too foolish and stupid to realize what was happening to him. Now he's in the Star Sanses, what a cheesy and stupid name. The SS was made by Ink the creator, Dream of course, and Blue, who is a regular swap sans. Why had this happened? Most importantly, what does his magic have to do with the void? The void in OuterTale is very dangerous. If you jump in you would most certainly die, right?

Wait, why am I thinking about this? I shouldn't even be thinking about the void. Why did Ink create something so beautiful yet destructive? I guess I now know why Error likes OuterTale so much, it's so beautiful... I want to have it to myself... I can't take a whole AU for myself though. Without Ink, the AU would certainly collapse.
