The Last Time Leo Runs? (hoO and Avengers crossover)

I want to recruit Leo Valdez into the Avengers and I plan on doing so.

The Avengers came into my office the morning after Leo Valdez's interrogation. Quite frankly I knew why they were here, Leo Valdez is a remarkable teen, and my only real option to keep him out of trouble is to recruit him. Especially with how well hff e can fight and I also had a deep feeling that he wasnt nearly as bad as his file makes him look. So when the question arose I agreed for the Avengers to train him as long as they figure out more about him and his confusing past.

But now I'm wondering if Leo will actually except the offer.

He was being held in Bruce's lab, from what I've heard he hasn't spoken a word and wont do anything anyone tells him to do. I walked through the double doors with the Avengers (besides Bruce) at my heels.

The lab smelled of lysol and medicine, there is a few beds in the corner only one occupied. Leo was hooked up to a drip and a heart monitor, he simply stared up at the ceiling.

"Leo would you mind coming with me?" He didnt reply, just countinued staring at the white ceiling. Natasha stepped towards him,
"Leo I'm Natasha Romanoff." Leo shifted and looked at her boredom clear in his eyes, he stayed as silent as a mute.
"Is there anything I could get you or help you with?" Natasha said sweetly,
"Could y-you please unlock my hands you can keep the ones on my feet or e-even add more just please unlock my hands." I looked at the kid, he didnt seem scared but nervous and I knew I was the cause. Natasha looked at me and I nodded for her to. Banner handed her the keys and she walked up to him and unlocked his hands. A sigh emerged from him as he started tapping on the rim of his bed. I could feel the others tense, unaware of the origin of his tapping. I knew morse code and I decifered him saying "Thank You" over and over again.

"Why are you tapping?" Bruce questioned. The kid didnt answer obviously ignoring him. Natasha tried next.
"Leo why are you tapping?"
"I have really bad ADHD, 8 times the normal amount in a kid my age, I'm saying Thank you in morse code by the way." Natasha smiled warmly.
"Leo these are my friends." She pointed back at us, with a wave, I think this kids warming up to us.
"Just because I talked to you dosent mean I'm your friend, I told you so the next time you send volts down me, you dont almost kill me." Or not.
"Leo-"
"Lady just cause you can sweet talked a lot of people dosent mean its going to work on me, I can spot a spy a mile away."

He tapped against the bed frame again, I couldnt catch what he said this time but soon J.A.R.V.S did a series of clicks much like Leo's and it seemed as if they started conversing. The Avengers were all staring at Leo confusion masked on their faces. Leo looked behind me to Tony Stark and listened to J.A.R.V.I.S's clicks once more.
"Tony Stark, huh. You certainly dont look like much, but J.A.R.V.I.S is quite fond of you."
Tony grinned, frowned, and grinned again.
"How did you talk to J.A.R.V.I.S like that?"
"Its a slightly magical algorithm that very few know, but I use it to learn more about people. Or how to fix machines and sometimes just small talk through machines. But he seems to like you all, and that may be in your favor later."
His voice was smooth but had no emotion, which was quite sad due to his age. This time Tony tried to get Leo to trust us a little.
"So Leo you like machines?"
"You could say that." His red brown eyes were cold and quite unnerving.
"Are make a deal with ya, if you talk to Fury here I'll get you some mechanic parts for you to work on?"
"I don' like electricity, so are you just going to electrocute me if I go with you?

"What I did was extremely wrong and I swear that we just want to talk and give you a choice." I replied calmly.

"I take my promises very seriously Mrs. Fury, and the consequences are very high when you break them." He glared at me, it was like he was using a hundred daggers to rip into my sole and cut out my secrets but at the same time it's as if he paralyzed me so he could torture me forever. After a minute of torture I was finally able to take a step back and avert my gaze.

Leo got up from the bed, he was still in the clothes from the days before.

"So are you going to take me or not?" He held out his hands to get cuffed, but to be honest that kid is scary as hell, and the Avengers new I was scared of him (which is quite embarrassing). Natasha cuffed him and we were off.
