2 years later...

"yangyang! hendery! come back here you little-" xiaojun was chasing hendery and yangyang around the dorm. they had stolen his phone and were running with it.

"try and stop us boiiiiii!" yangyang yelled with a cackle.

kun sighed, putting away his phone. "yang, hendery, give xiaojun his phone back."

"NEVER!" they yelled, running away.

"be leader, they said. it will be fun, they say," kun muttered, "GIVE HIM THE PHONE BACK BEFORE I TAKE AWAY YOUR LAPTOP, YANGYANG!"

"not the video games!" yangyang yelled.

"then give his phone back."

yangyang pouted and gave xiaojun his phone back.

"finally! i was getting a headache," ten said, coming out of his room.

"same," kun said, "where's winwin?"

"at 127's dorm, visiting," ten said.

"and lucas?"

"right here." lucas walked into the dorm, "i was at the gym."

"of course," yangyang said with a laugh.

"i'm back!" winwin said a few minutes later, coming inside.

the boys had become very close friends, and they were also about to be bandmates. they were about to debut as nct's 4th unit, wayv, tomorrow. this would be yangyang's 1st debut, and he was nervous. everyone was, even the ones who had already debuted at least once.

"are you guys ready for tomorrow?" kun asked.

everyone nodded.

"i am, but i'm nervous," yangyang said.

"we all are," ten said, "but this is the moment we've all been waiting for."

"we've been chasing our dreams up to this moment," winwin said.

"we've all had ups and downs, but we're here now, and we're all ready," lucas said.

"it's ok to be nervous everyone, but it's also important that our nerves don't get in the way of our ambition," xiaojun said.

"it's like you said, yang. 'follow wherever your heart takes you.' and hearts have lead us here," hendery said.

yangyang smiled. these guys have been with him throughout his childhood, his trainees days, and through many ups and downs.

"i'm ready. we're all ready."

"alright!" kun said, "one, two, three-"

"FIGHTING!"

"alright, now let's go to sleep," kun said.

Author's Note: This book is completed. I wrote this in the span of about a week. It was quick and a little sad, but hey, Yangyang met everyone again in the end. Thank you so much for reading!
