2 weeks later...

daniel was currently on his way over and said he had some 'big news' to tell me. we've been acting more like bestfriends then whatever we are lately and it's been confusing me.

i heard a knock on my door and i smiled knowing its daniel. i opened the door to my apartment and saw him i brought him inside and went to go kiss him.

but he dodged me. i was confused and my face showed it.

"i came here to tell you we have to stop." he said.

"stop what?" i laughed.

"stop whatever this is. to just be bestfriends." he sighed.

"um why?" i asked looking down so my tears didn't come out.

"i-i got a girlfriend." he said.

"what? who is she?" i asked. i kept my head down and right as he said that the tears started coming down.

"her names ava."

"oh okay. well thanks for telling me. i actually have to be somewhere so you can leave now." i said looking up with my now, red eyes.

"sawyer i-"

"leave daniel please." i said knowing more tears were coming.

"okay." he whispered. he left and i slid down my wall onto the floor crying in a ball. i picked up my phone and called the one person i wanted to see to come over.

"hey, can you come over?" i asked.

"yeah what's the address." they asked me softly.

"oh it's ____" i said.

"okay i'm on my way."

"okay thank you devin bye!" i said.
