hi! so i meant to write this so many months ago but i get questions about how opal is underweight and the bones rising thing. so basically being underweight increases a woman's risk of Osteoporosis, this means your bones become more brittle and prone to breaking. now when i was a kid we used the term "rising up" it's not an actual thing it basically means that say i fell from super high and landed on my feet, my ribs would almost touch my hip bones because being underweight as you might know stunts your growth and so it's almost like your stomach is being sucked backwards. There's really no actual term for it it's basically a precaution. As a kid we also used it to mean our hips could break and move, i didn't mean to confuse you i try not to use the term but i did use it a lot in this story and i'm sorry but i hope this kind of helps. On another note, i started writing this book in like the 6th grade and i'm in the 10th now!! that's crazy !! i feel as though my writing has improved a lot since then!! also let me know if you want me to write a chapter on opal and her weight and stuff again because i really like doing it because i can write from experience! i just don't want to bore you! give me ideas and let me know where you want this book to go!!
