VAUGHN'S P.O.V

I never regretted that I met you. Please don't make me regret that I let you met me.

-Vaughn

She's here.

Dmitri coughed which caused me to look at him.

"I'm going to deal this with you." I pointed my finger at her while looking at her in the eyes furiously and walk towards Dmitri. "You messed up with the wrong person."

Her eyebrows furrowed.

"Ohh I'm scared," she mimicked.

"You should be," I said in a threatening voice.

"You really don't know what sarcasm is. By the way, it's nice seeing you again." she paused and bends over to level my face with hers. "My dearest best friend."

"Whatever."

I didn't pay attention to whatever she said what is important is that I can get Dmitri out of this place because if I don't, I don't know what I'm going to do with Stella.

Stella Ferrer.

A person who used to be my shoulder.

My partner in crime.

Who always watches my back.

But is now became my greatest adversity.

I don't know how this all happened. In just a matter of seconds, our friendship disappeared. For what reason? I don't know. We used to be inseparable. Everywhere we go we don't want that we are not together. We ate together during lunchtime and went home together when our class ended. We always talked about anything. But she accused me of something I didn't do in purpose. I tried to fix our friendship and explained to her that I didn't mean what I did and it was just an accident but she said what is done cannot be undone. After our friendship broke up I met Dmitri.

And now she's here. She's here to avenge. The raging anger in her eyes cannot be hidden with that breath-taking smile.

I successfully carried Dmitri to the school clinic even I many times I almost dropped him. He gave me a hard time especially that our school clinic is located at the farthest corner near at the emergency exit of this school. Don't ask me why.

The nurse treated him and gave him some medicine that I don't know of. She told me that it's a good thing that I brought him as soon as possible and that none of his vitals are broken or else something worst might happened to him.

What a relief.

I didn't attend class after I brought him here even the school nurse said I can leave him and come back during lunchtime. I can't just leave him here in this state, I just can't and no one will going to make me. Not until I'm sure he's okay and that should be coming from him, not from anyone else.

Who cares about classes anyway?

The nurse left a while ago to check things out somewhere and she got guts to tell me to leave him here. I'm here sitting in one of the monoblocks while watching Dmitri sleeping in the bed peacefully. His face looks awful. I chuckled remembering the first time I met him.

(Flashback)

3 years ago......

I was walking in the alley going home after a long day in school. The heavens roared it was like it's going to rain tonight. Goodness! I didn't bring my umbrella with me. My body shivered from the cold breeze that kissed my skin. As I continued to walk, I heard a weird noise coming from the shed. It sounds like a whimper. I tightened my grip to the pepper spray that always in my hand when I go home every day. As I went closer the whimper gets louder and louder. I stopped in the front of the shed where the whimper came from but I didn't see anyone sitting in the shed.
