Chapter One

Reminisce

I looked up the sky to see the subtle shade of blue hovered across the sky. The sea of clouds push pass each other as if they are in a marathon. The sun shining lightly giving feather kisses to my skin. The wind meet my face giving me that refreshing feeling.

I smiled. This is so comfortable. I lay down the bench at the back of the school. There were couple of benches here but only a few student hang around in this are. Plus, this is our barkada's tambayan. Far from the crowd.

 It is our second period but the teacher is out. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na wala kang ginagawa at nagrerelax lang. It's been a while.

Noong nakaraang linggo, wala na akong oras para sa sarili ko sa kadahilanang napakaraming proyekto na pinagawa sa amin. Kung sabagay malapit na ang semestral exams. Now, smelling the fresh air while gazing at the sky relaxes me. Self love everyone.

The peace was ruined by a certain someone.

"Astrea Jin Castanio! Nademunyu ka! Nandito ka lang pala. I've been searching everywhere, even the outskirts of this huge and wide schools, only to find you here."

"Kist, ang exaggerated mo! FYI, it's not my fault you didn't check if I'm sleeping on the benches like what I usually do." This exaggerator.

Kist pursed her lips and made face. I just stuck out my tongue. She's so exaggerated. I can still remember the first time she approached me. She introduced herself in the most exaggerating way with the weird dance and all. Nagpapapansin siguro.  But who would have thought she became a good friend of mine. I love her but sometimes I want to bang her head on the table.

"Hey, bitch! That's mine. Walang hiya to."

Kist puff her cheeks as I eat the Cheetos she bought. She's glaring daggers at me that I can't help but laughed out loud.

"Friends share everything they got." I grinned.

She suddenly grinned back. That creepy, weird grin that give me chills. Ano nanaman kaya ang iniisip ng bruhang to?

"Then, you should share your underwear later. Sleepover!"

I almost choked. I scrunched my nose.  Walang hiya to dinamay pati panty ko. Ang ganda ganda ng simula ng araw ko tapos sisirain lang ng gagang to.

"Ew! Yuck! Gosh! You disgusting creature. Gago, nakakadiri ka. Ulitin mo panty mo tutal sanay ka naman na."

"F you!"

Natawa nalang kaming dalawa. But heck, that was really disgusting.

"'Yung ngala-ngala n'yong dalawa rinig na rining hanggang faculty." 

Quer threw the chips she's eating at us. I threw it back to her. She chuckled.

Nagningning ang aking mga mata nang masulyapan ko ang mga chips na dala-dala nina Pat at Shar. Piattos, Mr. Chips, Cheetos, Oishi, and some biscuits namely Rebisco.
