Yu looked intently at her face. He had something he needed to say and wasn't going anywhere until he had done so. "What is it, Yu?" She asked curiously. Yu fidgeted a little and spoke up, "I've been wanting to say this for a long time now. I just didn't know how to but now I'm going to say it." He paused took in a breath and continued, "I like you. I like you a lot." He said and looked at her waiting for a reply. "Oh..." She looked around the room then back at him, "I like you too, Yu. I hope we can always be friends." She said and gave him a hug, "I'm sorry but I need to go see Glenn." Her eyes lit up as she mentioned his name and she left the room.

Yu was left standing there speechless, he had just poured out his honest feelings and she took it as a meaning of friendship. His chest ached, he knew it was no use. She would only ever see him as the old friend as it was Glenn she loved and no matter how much he wanted her to love him it would never happen. Yu collapsed onto the bed as a few tears escaped his eyes. He never knew rejection from the one you loved could hurt so much. It was only going to make seeing her every day so much harder as concealed his feelings away.
