Everything I Wanted Part 1

Beca Mitchell is a Senior at Barden University. Her Dad promised her 4 years ago that if she did 1 year at university then he'd help her with her dream to LA. Her dad was a professor at Barden, so Beca was entitled to a free education. She didn't want to go to university, but if it meant that her Dad would give her a free ticket to LA, she decided to do it.

However, what she didn't know when she made the deal with her Dad, was that she'd meet a great group of friends and join an A Capella group. Well, she really only did it for one girl and that was her now best friend, Chloe Beale. They met at an activity fair 3 years ago, her and Aubrey were trying to recruit new Bellas. The conversation between Beca and Aubrey didn't go well, and in the end Beca said that she didn't even sing.

It was about a month after that when Beca went downstairs to take a shower late at night, she assumed no one would be in there so she started to sing her favourite song, Titanium by David Guetta. Beca loved singing to herself, she wasn't keen on singing in front of people. But that night changed Beca, she met Chloe Beale again, but this time in close proximity and both very naked.

Chloe persuaded Beca to sing as she wasn't going to leave the shower until she sang, so of course Beca had too. But neither Beca nor Chloe expected their voices to harmonise so perfectly together. At the start Beca was awkward and hiding behind the shower curtain, with her loofa covering her breasts, but throughout the song they were singing, her confidence grew massively, and she released the shower curtain. It ended and Chloe said see you at auditions.

Then when auditions came around a week later, Chloe was upset at first because there was no Beca there, but then she saw her hiding behind the stage. She ended up singing a song that she wrote called 'Cups' she was going to sing I'm a little teacup as she had no idea what to do, but when she saw the yellow plastic cup, her song choice immediately changed.

Now in Beca and Chloe's final year, they were co-captains of the Barden Bella's and had a great group of friends. Everyone messed about saying that Chloe and Beca were an old married couple and said when are they going to get married? At first it annoyed the girls, but in the end, they just got used to it, they laughed along with the others, but of course they were best friends. Just best friends.

Chloe changed Beca for the better, before Chloe came along, Beca would just stay in her room or be somewhere else on her own with her music on and mixing. All Beca needed 4 years ago and before that was her music. But then she met the infamous Chloe Beale, where Beca couldn't stop smiling at how much of an idiot the ginger girl really was. Beca never liked watching movies, she found them very predictable, so never even bothered watching them. But Chloe managed to change Beca's tune about movies. But of course, Beca would never sit through an entire movie, within 10 minutes she'd be asleep on Chloe's shoulders, but before that, Beca would never be in the same room as someone else with a movie playing.

She was a person who never hugged, but that changed when Chloe arrived in her life, Beca would hug Chloe and only Chloe. she wouldn't even hug her own father.

Beca had a difficult upbringing, she saw her parent's relationship start to break down from a young age and after years and years of non-stop fighting, her Mum left her Dad and they eventually got a divorce. Beca stayed with her Dad due to the fact that her Mother was going to her Grandparent's who lived in a different state, so she told Beca that she needed to leave but Beca needed to stay with her Dad due to her school. Beca was upset, what child wouldn't be when your parents split up. Since the break-up Beca became a very closed off person. She pushed everyone away who tried to befriend her.

Then in high school, she started going through sexuality issues, she had a boyfriend called Jacob, but that didn't last long as she was in fact falling for Jacob's twin sister. She tried to hide her feelings and eventually broke it off with Jacob just so that she didn't have to see his sister, they were always round his house playing games or listening to music and his sister was always there. In the end it got too much, and she ended it, that was when she was in the 9th Grade.

Beca was a bullied child from a young age, everyone made fun of her because of her parent's divorce, and when she realised in the 10th Grade that she was in fact a lesbian, everything was too much. She became angry at everyone and everything. She had counselling sessions, but they didn't help. She started to have nightmares and now 5 years later, with her being a senior at university, the nightmares from her childhood still haunt her to this day. Her Dad at the time didn't help either, he just kept saying it was a phase, which it wasn't.

He's only recently started to accept it in the last 2 years after seeing Beca around Chloe and seeing that the bubbly redhead girl can make Beca smile. He never really saw Beca smile, the last time he saw her smile was before her Mother left, and that was when Beca was 12.

Both Beca and Chloe share a room in the Bella House, so when Beca has a nightmare, Chloe knows instantly and goes over into Beca's bed and cuddles her until she goes to sleep.
