"Where were you?" I ask Noah while he zoned out for a few minutes.

"Sorry, I was speaking with my wolf." He replies.

"How is it? To have someone else speaking in your head?" I ask.

"It depends. It's nice to never be alone but when my wolf speaks at the same time that someone it can be annoying. The worst is when he comments on what the other person is saying."

"What does he think about me? About the fact, I'm not his mate."

"It's right you're not his mate, you are more. You're our true soulmate, he is drowned by you as much as I'm. As for the other mate, we hope we will never meet her. We don't want to break a heart."

"What if you meet her? Many you can be happier with her far from the responsibilities to be the King. Will you choose her?" I ask as he said he said he doesn't want to break a heart not her heart.

"No, I will not." He says so sure of him.

"Why? How can you be so sure? You don't even know her."

"She is not you. You own my heart, Selina. There is no place for her."

"Oh!" I say blushing.

"I like when I make you blush." He says cockily.

I shake my head but I smiling.

"Are you hungry? I cook for us?" He asks.

"Sure! I'm starving."

"Great, I coming back in a few seconds, I just going to pick the food." He says before to disappear but to reappear a few seconds later with a blanket and a picnic basket.

I have to say he is a great cooker and he is easy going. I was not expecting to be able to speak so freely with him. The only one else who it's so easy to speak is Tom. Well, not ar the beginning of your friendship where I was speaking while his main answers contained the word fuck.

Anyway, we spoke about what we like and hate our hobbies and passions. How honesty is important to me. We run together and for the first time, I saw his wolf. He is a beautiful black midnight wolf and his fur is so soft. We went swimming too after having a big water battle. Note to myself, witches don't play fair in waters battle but I kind of started it so... He prefers to be called a witch rather than a wizard. I came from the fact he used to say he was a witch, like his mommy when he was young and it's kind of stick around and he likes it. He is really close with his parents and siblings.

I wish I could be that close with my brothers and sisters but with my Queen's training and didn't spend much time with them. Be the future Queen has isolated me this is why I was looking forward for my mate and I was relieved to know that I have already found him. Tom is the first one who made me feel like a normal human being. Lana and Asher too but for a long time, they had no idea of who I really was. I have a really great family and I'm close to my parents but I grew up apart from my siblings but it mainly my doing. Since I can remember eyes are on me and isolating myself was my way to protect them from the others.

I shared all of this for the first time and it's with him. See, it's just crazy how I can speak easily with Noah. I felt sorry because I saw how guilty I felt of what he did to me. Understanding why he acted as he did, help me to forgive him.

"What are you thinking about it, Sunshine?" Noah asks me.

"Why are you calling me, Sunshine?" I ask him instead of answering.

"You're illuminated others' lives with your personality like the sun." He replies like it was the most obvious thing.

"So what were you thinking about?" He asks me again.
