I woke up and found myself in an awkward state, I found myself hugging the girl beside me, chaeyoung who was completely tired and still deep asleep. I didn’t bother to wake her up for her to move her arm away that was attached on my shoulder so I slowly grabbed a pillow and carefully placed it right beside her.

I headed out the room and went straight to the kitchen where I found jennie sitting next to the small countertop.

The smell of the brewed coffee entered my notrils which allowed me to smell its pleasant aroma.

“When did you get home?” I asked her as I approached the girl who was just sitting there whilst taking a sip from her coffee.

“Just last night”

“I actually brought us some food to eat in case you were hungry but when I entered your room you were already deep asleep while you were cuddling with your girlfrie—”

“That’s enough unnie!” I said as I felt my cheeks suddenly heating up so bad.

“Oh and, your buyer by the way” jennie said which made me look at her direction to see what she was about to say.

“He wants to meet up later. he already sent the address via text.” the girl said as she handed her phone to me so that I could read the address.

“It’s kinda fishy tho... don’t you think I should do a background check with this person?”

“Why? Is there something wrong?” I asked whilst making myself a coffee to drink.

The girl didn’t seem to answer and the atmosphere was completely deafening because of the silence between the two of us.

don’t bring anyone with you

I read the text carefully and as it was said in the text, the person was telling me to not bring anyone with me, I wonder why is that?

“Maybe they just don’t want to get identified by others, right?” I confidentally answered as I took a sip from the coffee I just finished making awhile ago.

“I hope so, I just” “you know what nevermind.” she answered quietly.

Not just a few minutes later, rosie came out of the room and she went straight to the kitchen, where the both of us were located.

“Hey” I said with a smile.

“Good morning.” She said as she sat on the small chair near the dining area as she gently rubbed her eyes since she seemed like she just woke up from her long sleep.

“Uh, I guess I’ll leave the both of you now I don’t want to thirdwheel again.” jennie jokingly said as she grabbed her phone that was placed on top of the small countertop.

After breakfast, me and rosie went outside to take a walk and breathe in some fresh air from the outside.

We were walking across the busy streets and decided to look around for awhile since it must’ve been quite tiring for her to experience being locked up at her own room.

I saw a familiar face while the both of us were walking completely undisguised and dressed as the usual. A girl nearby that was probably my age as well approached me and gave me a friendly greeting.

“Lisa, how have you been?” the short girl said as she smiled at me like it was a pleasure to see eachother again.

I looked at rosie before even responding at the girl who was in front of us, “great, I’ve been well. It really was a long time since we last met.”

I looked at the girl and noticed rosie from my peripheral vision, who was completely confused and awkward during that situation.

“Are you on a date?” the girl asked and chuckled softly.

I nodded and replied as I looked at the girl beside me once again, “yeah, im surprised you noticed” I chuckled softy, giving her a small wave before greeting eachother goodbye.

“Who was that?” I heard her asking, the girl was completely clueless and a small pout on her face was barely noticeable but still visible enough for me to see.

“Just an old friend from my old school.” I said as she glanced at me again.

“Really? where did you study before?” she asked again, she seemed really curious but anxious at the same time.

“Just somewhere near my late grandmother’s house, she was the one who took care of me eversince I was young.” I replied.

“Oh I didn’t know that... I’m sorry.” she apologized but I shook my head as a response.

The both of us were completely silent while we were walking down the streets, I felt her emotions when I took a glimpse of her small face that was barely seen because of the jacket she was wearing.

I faked cough and glanced back at her, but I noticed that she was avoiding my gaze.

I slowly grabbed her hand and intertwined our finger with eachother, giving it a little squeeze before putting it inside the pocket of my coat.

I heard her chuckle softly after what I did, I wish I could stare at her like this forever.

After a few stops at some stores, we finally decided to go home and rest after the long tiring day we had.

I sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the girl who was completely unaware of me looking at her.

“What?” she said as she noticed me staring at her.

“Nothing”

“By the way, how long are you planning to stay away from your parents?” I asked while giving her a curious look.

I noticed her fix her hair and put a strand behind her ear. “I don’t know.” she replied.

“I can stay at jisoo’s house for awhile tho, if I can’t stay much longer here.” she added.

I cupped rosie’s face and stared at her eyes full of endearment.

“Can you promise me something?” I said as my eyes were still fixed on her cupped face.

The girl hummed in response and suddenly held my hand that was touching her cheeks.

“Don’t go anywhere else”

“Cause I don’t want to lose you again.”
