Chapter 2

*The next day*

~Chapter 2~

Emma felt sick to her stomach with what people will think of her being a mother. She woke up to Henry tugging on her shirt. It appears he got out of his crib somehow.

"Momma! Eat?" He still tugs at her shirt.

She yawns and looks at him "How did you get out of your crib?" He giggled cheekily.
Emma sat up and he put his little chubby arms up to her. She picked him up and smiled then carried him to the kitchen and saw her father.

"Morning Dad" she said as she put Henry in his chair.

"Morning Emma" he smiled and gave her some breakfast. She ate it and then fed Henry.

"Do you know that Henry can now climb out of his crib somehow?" She looked at him. He smiled.

"Your mother took him out. Not himself. She could hear him babbling on and she took him out as you didnt wake up."

Emma didn't look surprised at all. She finished feeding Henry and changed him. Then she got herself ready for school and made Henry a bottle of warm milk. Hoping it will last him until she gets to school. She carried him around whilst packing her bag.

"Tell Mom i'll call her later so she doesn't worry about Henry being with me" she called out to him before putting her bag on her back and walking out.

Killian was there waiting for her. "How long have you been here?!"

"About 10 minutes. I told you id stick with you. Starting from the minute you walk out of your door. To the minute you walk back inside" he said in a serious manner.
She laughed it off.

"Dadda?" Henry said whilst looking at Killian.

"No no Henry this is Killian. Not dadda" she laughed a little looking at Killian.

He looked at Henry and smiled "Hey Lad"

Henry smiled. "Killy" he said unable to pronounce his name. Emma laughed it off as they walked to school.

They walked into school and Emma got the chills...she really didn't know what people would think of her after showing up with Henry. Killian noticed her tense and looked at her. "You're fine Em, don't worry" she smiled as he said this and put Henry down and held his hand. Walking slowly as he looked at his surroundings waddling along with them.

Everyone around them looked confused and shocked at the same time. Then all the whispering started, but Emma didn't care. She had Killian by her side. Even though he didnt have to. More importantly she had Henry. Nothing meant more to her then him.

"Momma? Carry?" He pouted as he became tired of walking so she picked him up and kissed his head. He dropped his bottle of milk and Killian picked it up and gave it too him.

"Here lad don't leave this behind" Killian smiled as did Emma. Henry grabbed his bottle and smiled.

"What do you say to Killian?" Emma looked at Henry

"Milk!" Henry said giggling. Emma laughed

"Maybe another day you will get it right" She reaches her locker her arms becoming  slowly tired. Killian notices it.

"Emma you want me to carry him for a bit?" She shakes her head because he shouldn't have too. Although, Killian insists grabbing Henry from her arms and she drops her arms from them aching.

"Killy drink?" He holds out his bottle to Killian.

"No thanks lad" he smiles.

Emma and Killian are in their first class together thankfully. Emma needed it. She sat down with Henry on her lap, Killian sat infront of her. As soon as the class starts Killian keeps an eye on Emma and Henry.

Further on in class Henry became bored and figity. "Henry stop it.." she whispered loud enough for Killian to hear it.

"Momma play?" He said pouting

"I can't baby." She reaches into her bag and gives him a little toy car to sit with but he throws it at Killian.

"Henry...you can't do that!" She said firmly but quietly.

Killian picks it up and looks at Emma.
"Give him here love"

Emma looks at him and then puts Henry down. He waddled over to Killian who has the car and Killian lifts him up onto his lap and makes car noises which entertains Henry. Everyone kept on looking at Henry and smiling because he was the cutest thing ever. Emma couldn't help but relax that Killian was so helpful.

It was the end of class and Henry had fallen asleep on Killians lap whilst Emma and Killian finished their work. Emma looked over to see Henry asleep and looks at Killian.

"Well he must have worn himself out" She laughed a bit  and Killian laughs a little aswell. "Yeah it seems like he did."

As people started to leave for their next class Emma and Killian stayed behind to make sure they did everything. Killian didn't have to but he was doing it for Emma. The teacher walked over to see Henry and she smiled. "You have a great kid Emma" Emma looks up and smiles at her teacher. "Thank you. I got lucky. He's the sweetest thing ever." She smiled.
The teacher checked her work and said that she was okay to leave. Emma was scared to wake Henry up because she knew he would become grumpy.

She got up out of her seat and walked to Killian and peaked over his shoulder at Henry. "He looks so peaceful" she smiled.

"Aye, he does" he looks at her and smirks because their lips were so close. Emma didn't hesitate...she moved closer to Killian kissing him. He kissed her back and smiled.
Emma pulled away and smiled at Henry. She picked him up and he thankfully stayed asleep and she rubbed his back soothing him.

Killian and Emma grabbed their bags and left the classroom. It slowly became noisier and Emma could feel Henry starting to figit.
"Lets go to a quiet room Killian" she said as she starts walking to a mostly empty part of the school. Killian followed her and they both walked into an empty classroom and sat down. Emma cradled Henry and he fell back to sleep.

There was a knock at the classroom door. Killian stood up and opened it. It was Emmas best friend Regina. She had been away for a few weeks on a vacation but she was back.
"Emma!" She said happily as she walked over to Em and hugged her.

"Regina? Youre back?!"

"Yeah I am!" She looks down at Henry "He's grown so much since I last saw him"

"I know right! He wont stop growing. He's becoming so big that he becomes more tiring" she laughs a little. Killian just sits on a table next to them minding his own business.

With all the talking Henry slowly wakes up and sees Regina

"Auntie Gina!!!" He puts his arms to her and giggles.

Regina picks him up and smile "Hey kiddo, ive missed you" He smiles at her.

"Emma I have to go to class. I'll meet you outside your next class okay?" Killian said.
Emma nodded and as he was about to walk out of the door she got up and went to him. She kissed his cheek. "Thanks for the help"
He smiles and walks out.
