Silence again.
Sydney sigh walking to her daughters room knowing that she turn of her hearing aids.She tapped her waiting for Teagan to put on the hearing aids.
"Teagan how are you suppose to hear me calling you if you always turn your hearing aids off?" Sydney said sternly.She was exhausted from working her shift at the busy local hospital.
"I know ma but i was so caught up in the moment i forgot the time you were suppose to coming home."
Sydney knew her daughter, who was sensitive and didn't like to be yell at. She dismissed the subject for now.
"Thanks for the food,Lord knows i wasn't finna cook tonight." Sydney chuckled
Teagan grin at her mom feeling happy that she made her mom proud.
"I know i'm the best." she popped her invisible collar.
"Girl don't get too hype." as she was walking out her daughter room mushing her head
"Oh go find the remote that i lost in my room i can't find it "
Teagan smacked her teeth knowing damn well her mom wouldn't even go look under the bed.
"Lazy ass" she mumbled under her breathe.

Later that night
"Hello." she said on the phone after putting on her hearing aids.
"Bitch this nigga is pissing me the fuck off i swear to god we finish."
Teagan chuckled knowing her long time friend.
"What he did this time?"she said knowing he probably did some dumb shit.
"Caught him texting his ex."
Teagan didn't know much about relationship but she prayed it wasn't like how her friend describe it.
"Toxicity at the finest" she told her friend over the phone.

Teagan laughs at her friend stupid comment.
"I hope i don't end up in a relationship like y'all".
Lalia knew her friend couldn't take all the bullshit she was going through with her current relationship.

"After work I have a doctors appointment to get new hearing aids"
Laila knew the story of Teagan and her hearing impairment. They meet at the end of the 7th grade when both their classes went combine on one bus to go to the water park. Where Laila was force to sit next to Teagan because of being "loud" on the bus.
