"What is that in her ears?" some girl teased whispering to another person beside her.
Teagan who had heard what they said flushed with embarrassment as the two started to laugh about her hearing aids.

Present Day
Teagan woke up to her mom rushing to get out the house to her shift.Summer started a few weeks ago and she was already bored.

Teagan playfully smacked her teeth" u never called me."

" How's my nephew doing."
Penelope who really wanted a girl said" My daughter is doing fine." she emphasized.
"Just know if it's a girl me and Mari are disclaiming it."
"Mari dumb ass never want to pick up the phone when my ass call her."
"She's busy just like you."
Before Penelope can reply her boyfriend called her name.
"What nigga i know you see me on the phone."
Teagan hung up knowing that they were going to argue as usually.

"Yes please." Teagan said to the waiter who was taking orders from the group at Juicy Crab later that day.Which included Karius,Laila,and her associates some she didn't know.
"Teagan do you think Key Glock dress better than he raps?" Ava asked her.
Teagan who was to distracted trying to get her snow crab legs to open that she didn't catch what Ava had said to her.
"Say that again i didn't hear you."
"You still can't hear even with hearing aids." Se'Nai mumbled slickly under her breath.
Ava glared at her friend harshly not liking what she said but decides to dismissed the comment.
Teagan who started to flushed look down after hearing the comment she heard.
"Do you think Key Glock dresses better the he raps?" she asked again not having a problem repeating it the comment.
"I like his deep voice it kinda reminds me of Pop Smoke." Karius added.
"Yeah i feel like he has more talent in the fashion industry and the only reason he is known is because of Young Dolph. Teagan expressed her opinion on the topic.
" Key Glock is fine ash but got a fat ass nose which throws me off." Laila said
"He's nose doesn't bother me." Ava shrug.
"Doesn't he have a girlfriend?" Teagan asked.
" I don't know i seen one picture of him and this girl but her back was turn to the camera i think her name is Bree."Laila said unsure.
(Flashback ninth grade)
Teagan began walking home from school which was just a couple blocks away from her house when she stopped to get a soda at the nearby quick store. When she notice a group of people talking among themselves.
"Aye" a voice called out to her.
Ignore she said in her mind,she kept walking faster.
"Yo shawty!"
"She can't hear you she wears hearing aid and they probably off or sum shii like that." she didn't recognize the voice but it was probably someone from school who knew about her.
"Oh she deaf."
After paying she walk out to see the same guy staring giving her a wink.
