Chapter 3

I got to school earlier than usual so I could set up the gym for them. As I was filling the water bottles I heard the gym open and I quickly finished. "MANAGER-CHAN!" tendō yelled running over to me. I dodged and he fell on the floor. "Don't run at our manager like that Tedou!" Semi yelled and I sigh putting the waters on the bench. "Did you set this up?" Ushijima asked and I nodded. "Thank you." He said walking over to the ball cart. Soon everyone arrived and we were waiting for the coach.

They warmed up and stretched until Tendou came over to me. "Manager-chan~ who's your favorite so far on this team?" Tendou asked and I deadpan. "Kawanishi-san." I said casually which made Tendou put a hand over his heart. "YOU WOUND ME!" He yelled and falls on the floor dramatically. Semi came over and Kicked Tendou lightly. "What did he ask you?" Semi asked and I sigh. "He asked who my favorite was on the team and I responded Kawanishi-san." I explained and he nodded. "Why Kawanishi? He hasn't talked to you." Semi replied and I nodded. "That's why he's my favorite." I said and he deadpans.

Practice went by as usual in the morning once we cleaned up coach called me over. "What time do you normally get here?" He asked me and I look away. "Maybe about an hour before the actual meeting time." I said and he furrows his brows. "And why do you do that?" He asked me his tone seemed more angry. "So I can set up the gym and water bottle." I mumbled and he sighed. "Alright get to class." He said passing me off and I nodded walking into the hallways of Shiratoriza.

Lunch came around and I sat in the class to text Kunimi.
