Chapter 17: Young love.

"Of course it's me, Horuda!" he said with a sweet smile. It was interesting on how he made himself look really different, he combed his messy hair to the side, he covered up his scar with makeup, and he wore a buttoned up white shirt with short sleeves. "You look handsome, that I didn't recognize you!" I said giggling, "And you look gorgeous in that dress!" he replied back with a gentle smile, I blushed a little bit when he said that. "Um...lets go..." I said, "Can I meet your mother though?" he asked, "Sure!" I replied back with a smile. I let him in and he then introduces himself, mom then turns back and says "Oh hi, you must be her friend Umeji, right?", "Yeah I'm her friend Umeji Kizuguchi.", when he said that for some reason I felt a little uncomfortable I don't know why, but it would've felt better if he said...something else besides that... "Well it's nice to meet you Umeji I'm her mom as you can see just call me 'Ms. Puresu'" she replied back with a kind smile, "Mom were going to hangout, so we might be back late or something." I said with a smile, "Ok that's fine, it was nice meeting you Umeji!". We then left...

"Well where are we going?" I asked him, "I actually want to go see a movie with you, I have tickets for us." he said with a smile, "Ok sure, what kind of movie is it?" I asked, "W-well it's just a...comedy." he replied back looking nervous. We then get on a train to get to the movie theater. The movie was a comedy but I know what he was nervous about, that being it was a romantic comedy, so this is really a date not just hanging out? Is he going to confess his love to me after this or something? Does actually like me? Ok deep breath Horuda just enjoy the movie...

After the movie was over I asked him..."Umeji-Kun d-do..." I said stuttering and looking nervous, "Are you trying to ask me if I like you? Did I really..." he replied back looking quite nervous too, "C'mon let's just go." he said, he then didn't say anything after that. I know that he likes me even though he won't say it, but it's fine if he denies it now, cuz I only met him in the beginning of the week and plus I want to get to know him first before we become lovers. "It's kind of cold outside." I said, he then held my hand and it felt very warm. I actually didn't mind or felt embarrassed at all, I felt very happy about it actually and I couldn't stop smiling. it was already 6:30 PM when the movie was over, so we still had some time to hangout. "Hey Umeji-Kun where are we going now?", he didn't reply back but he did take me somewhere....somewhere beautiful.

The place he took me was on a hill with a beautiful view. "Sit next to me on the grass" he said, "Wow Umeji-Kun this is beautiful!" I said with a smile, "I usually come here whenever I'm feeling down or stressed." he said with a warm smile, "Do you like me?" I asked again, he sighed "Ever since I first met you Horuda, you've been the only thing I've been thinking about and my gut just can't stop aching every day like I have butterflies in my stomach." he replied back looking nervous, "I love you too Umeji-Kun but we only just met each other right?" I said, "Right...we should just be friends and see what happens in the future for us." he said with a smile. The sunset was beautiful to watch I was there with him gazing at the stars all night. It was a true sight to for young love but enough for our friendship.
