It has been quite some time since you've fallen into the underground and met all the unfriendly and mean monsters, including the infamous skeleton brothers.

You took a liking to the two and since they had similar feelings they offered a place to you in their home. And although you said that you only did accept because you had nowhere else to go, you still weren't able to hide that happiness from your bored looking face.

Why wouldn't you be happy? You get to live with Sans! You had always been fond of that pun loving skeleton but you would never admit that to anyone. You tried your best at hiding it by insulting him and acting upset instead of flattered whenever he flirts with you, which he does a l o t actually.

It wasn't "Love at first sight" or any of that corny shit, But it was all when he stood up for you and protected you at around the 3rd day of you staying in Snowdin.

You and him were just walking around town and on your way to Grillby's, when suddenly a dog monster started to make fun of how weak you were, being human and all, and how you were gonna be killed in no time.

You frowned and looked away as small tears started to build up in your eyes because what he was saying was kinda right..Sans didn't take that lightly though, to say the least.

"You humans are nothin' but little bitchass fuckers waiting to be killed! How about ya do us all a favor and just get the fuck out of here-GAH!"

Sans used his telekinetic powers to swing the guy right in front of him, he grabbed him by the collar and glared at him "Wanna say that again Fuckface?" he growled as the monster in his grasp frantically shook his head as a chill ran down his spine "Yeah, that's what I thought, now scram before I dust your sorry ass"

Oh he didn't need to be told twice, the dog monster immediately rushed out of the door. And let's just say that that gave everyone at the restaurant a nice looonnggg laugh.

"Come on sweetheart, let's order" Sans said softly as he grabbed your hand and started walking.

And that just did it for you, you felt your heart flutter and butterflies in your stomach at how angry and protective he got when he saw that someone was upsetting you.

It has been almost a month now since that incident and ever since then you and Sans became closer than ever, and with Sans being Sans he would occasionally flirt with you and use a dirty pickup line here and there. That always got him a slipper thrown at him or a punch to the skull, but did that ever stop him? pffft- of course not!

He loved how flustered and defensive you become and how red your face turns, it was just too cute. You always thought that he only flirts with you jokingly, that it wasn't ever anything he actually meant.

If only you knew that that was far from the truth.

You and Sans were hanging out in his room, both bored out of your minds. He was sitting on his bed scrolling through Monstergram while you were laying upside down next to him reading a book.

"Oi " "Hm?"

You looked over at him and raised an eyebrow "if you could go out with any monster in the underground who would ya choose?" Sans asked smirking slightly.

You sat up straight and shrugged nonchalantly "Eh, to be honest I'd probably date you, sounds pretty awesome actually"

He looked surprised for a second, but then his smirked widened and so did your eyes once you realized what you just  said.

Ohhh Fuck. Nooo. Nononono-!

"B-b-but- THAT DOESN'T MEAN I-I LIKE YOU O-O-OR ANYTHING! YOU- You-! Y-you idiot.." you muttered the last part as you looked away.

"Besides..! It was just a joke, it's not like I'd actually date you" your already dark blush somehow got even darker as Sans grabbed your chin and moved it so you were looking in his direction.

"Oh I wasn't joking sweetheart" he leaned in closer to your face as you stared in shock. You couldn't move or push him away, and you knew you didn't want to. This was actually happening! You and Sans are gonna-!

His face was inching closer and closer to yours, as your breath hitched and your lips parted. You finally closed your eyes and leaned in as well.
You both awaited the incoming kiss and alas, it finally came.

You felt nothing but pure joy and your heart felt like it was going to jump out of your chest and explode. Thankfully you could tell that Sans was obviously having mutual feelings just by how passionately he was kissing you.

After some time you both pulled away to breath, your eyes stared into his and he suddenly snorted ""That doesn't mean I like you"" Hehe what happened to that?" He laughed loudly at how quickly your face turned from soft and in awe to being completely flustered.

"A-and I meant what I said, asshole! Don't make me smack your stupid face! Hmph!" You crossed your arms and looked away blushing.

"Didn't seem like that a second ago sugar" He laughed as he placed an arm around your shoulder and leaned closer to your face "Just tell me how you feel sweetheart~" he whispered.

No human's face should be physically capable of turning this Red.

"I-I-I um-" You stuttered out nervously "UGH FINE! I LOVE YOU OK?! N-NOW LEAVE ME ALONE JERK!" You gave him a light punch on his ribs before you got up and ran away, leaving Sans there laughing his nonexistent ass off.

"Haha! Love ya too bitch" he rolled his eyes playfully. He knew that it would take you sometime to let down your walls but he was willing to try his best for you.

He's wait to the end of time to finally have you. his sweetheart.
