2nd POV

You were always a shy type of person.

You don't talk a lot nor do you like interacting with people a lot. It wasn't that you were introverted or anything, but you just didn't know how to exactly interact with others.

You sighed as you looked at the small picture you doodled, ignoring the lesson the teacher was giving "How the hell in this going to be useful in real life again?!" The classmate seated next to you groaned "What if I'm lost in a forest or something, what do I do then? calculate the mass of the sun?" Laughter from every side of the class erupted, and the teacher rolled his eyes. He pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head "These brats are going to give me a stroke I swear" You couldn't hold it in anymore and let out a loud giggle.

The whole room went quite, and everybody stared. It was the first time that they've ever hear you make a sound. The loud student from earlier suddenly laughed loudly "Wow I honestly thought that she was mute" whispers and hushed conversations regarding you echoed.

"I had no idea that she was even there" "She never talks" "She's so quite" "What a weirdo" "Hey man what class are we in again..?"

You looked away as blood rushed to your cheeks "I-I'm so sorry! I- um.." You silently hoped that a hole would appear underneath you so you can fall and get away from the class forever. And surprisingly that's what happened, but instead of a hole it was a portal.

You fell butt-first into a literal void of pitch black ominous space and emptiness "What the hell..?" You looked up to where the portal was from earlier and were disappointed to see that it has disappeared just as fast as it appeared. You looked around in search of anything that could help your situation, when suddenly you felt something- or rather someone tap your shoulder from behind "Um excuse me?-""EEEK"

You quickly turned around in surprise and alert, only to be met with a pair of white eye-lits staring back at yours. You observed the skeleton monster before you cautiously "H-hello- OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY?!" Your slight fear of the monster immediately vanished, your features showing deep concern as you eyed his bleeding injury. Thankfully, you always had band aids on you for emergencies. You took out a couple and tried to think about how many you'll need "I'm going to need at least 13...Alright! hold still"

Sans was the skeletons name, though he chose to prefer being called Geno. Geno was actually surprised and kind of attracted at the amount of kindness and concern that you showed him, he was a total stranger and yet you tried to help him out like he was an old friend.

He snapped out of his small daze when his reflexes reacted and he grabbed your hand, which was inching closer to his chest. Geno smiled at your now adorable blushing face "No no I'm alright! It doesn't hurt and it's been there for a while now" "O-Oh Alright.." You nodded and looked away, Geno was still holding your hand "C-C-Can you pl-please let go..?" You whispered, your face burning. He chuckled and let go of your hand "Sorry about that" "It's alright.."

After a while you both introduced yourselves and Geno told you how he got the wound on his chest. A genocide route...You couldn't believe that someone was capable of doing such a thing to those poor creatures. Geno also explained where you both were and how lonely he felt there. You were quite upset upon finding out that there's no escape, but boy were you glad that Geno was there to keep you company.

It has been awhile since you've been there and you've noticed that in the void you don't really require anything such as food or water, all what made you feel like you were still your old self was sleeping. So much for that. You woke up in a cold sweat "Just a nightmare.." you sighed and tried to calm your breath "You alright there Y/N?" Geno was a few meters away from you as to not disturb your sleep, although you guys have been friends for some time now you're still pretty shy.

You nodded at him with a small smile "Yeah, I h-had a nightmare is all" Geno frowned, you reminded him of his brother when he was still a small skeleton "Would me sleeping next to ya help..?" He suggested hopefully. You smiled again at Geno and looked away, slightly flustered "N-no! It...It's alright really" you giggled and waved dismissively at him "I'll just go to sleep again and hope for the best" Geno nodded understandingly, He laid back on the ground once again and closed his eyes (?)

A whimper was heard. followed by a whisper "No...Stop it..." Geno's eyes fluttered open and he looked over to where you were "Y/N?"

You were having another nightmare. Geno took notice of how you were shivering and breathing heavily "Get away..! S-stop.." your whimpers grew louder. You were scared. You were terrified. You needed comfort. You want help.

Help..

Help..

HELP- "Shhhh It's okay Y/N, It's alright"

A pair of skeletal arms wrapped around you and held you close "Don't be afraid, I'm here..I'm here" You almost immediately calmed down, you felt at peace. Your body relaxed and you hugged his arms close, enjoying the gentle comfort. Geno sighed, he didn't want to but he had to to let go.

He was about to carefully get back up but he was stopped by you tugging his sleeve "Don't..! Can you p-please stay.." You decided to use a lethal weapon is hopes of making him stay, and as dangerous as it is you had no other choice but to use it.

The puppy eyes.

It was now Geno's turn to turn bright red, you're just so cute! Geno smiled and chuckled "Of course" he laid down once again next to you and hugged you tightly, he placed his head on top of your head and closed his eyes.

"I love you" He didn't even realize what he was saying until every word was said. As Geno was silently dying of panic and embarrassment, You were able to build up enough courage "I-I..I love you too.." You closed your eyes, your face was so red that it could put his scarf to shame.

Geno's eyes widened, he never thought that you'd feel the same, but in reality you've shared his feelings for a long time now. He grinned and hugged you tighter. You smiled too, saying that you were happy was definitely an understatement. You felt safe. You felt loved. That's all you could need.

Maybe staying here won't be so bad after all, Not since you both have each other.
