Fall down into the underground.

Meet Asgore and Temmie and go through the ruins. Go through Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotlands and the core.

And finally defeat queen Toriel and omega Temmie.

You refused to be genocidal no matter how tempting it was.

You tried the true Pacifist timeline but you just found yourself back it the underground right after reaching the surface.

Obviously after going through the same story over and over again you started to finally realize that there was nothing left. You tried every ending (Kinda) and befriended every monster, but knowing that you were the only person who knew the truth of this reality was almost driving you nuts. So you decided to not continue on with the story, to just live in Snowdin for the time being with the skelebros.

An all to familiar voice snapped you out of your trance.

"HUMAN! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" Sans' bright blue eyes scanned your somewhat tired features, you shook your head and smiled "Yeah I'm fine, just thinking" Sans nodded "MY TRAINING SESSION WITH ALPHYS IS ABOUT TO START. THE MAGNIFICANT SANS INVITES YOU TO JOIN US, FRIEND!"

Boy was it hard to say no to that precious cinnamon-roll of a skeleton, but you just didn't feel like being around both of the most enthusiastic monsters you knew.

So you shook your head once again and petted his skull "I would be honored to join you, oh magnificent one!" You dramatically bowed, which caused Sans to laugh at your small act " Buuut I'm pretty hungry so I think I'll just go to Muffet's" Sans nodded understandingly. You both hugged quickly before departing "BYE HUMAN!" "Seeya Blue!" you waved goodbye at him as he energetically dashed away.

The walk to Muffet's was pretty boring to say the least, you would glance and smile at all the monsters that greeted you happily but you couldn't stop that bitter voice in your head from screaming at you to just ignore them, to not care, that they're just unaware fragments of code that are just meant to act like that.

Maybe even their friendships and feelings for you were virtual as well.

You sighed, did it even matter? it wasn't like there was anything you could do about it, you just had to play along.

You chuckled at the little ironic pun you made as you pushed the door to the restaurant, as you entered you were immediately greeted by a scent of fresh food hitting your face. You sat on a stool "Heya Muffet" She nodded in acknowledgment and smiled "What would you like Y/N?" You told Muffet your order and rested your cheek on you palm as you waited.

"Hehe don't be so gloom lookin' kid, I bet that your wait will be short"

You flinched as Papyrus's voice caught you off-guard "Oh my Toriel, Paps you scared me! And I'm not short you're just a giant, I tall-ed you alredy" you crossed your arms and childishly glared at him, Papyrus laughed and ruffled your hair, somewhat messing it up.

"Rigghhtt, sorry, I didn't think that you had such a-" "Paps-" "Short temper" "Pffft-!"

The rest of the day was spent on the both of you making puns and eating delicious food, it was night time so you decided to order some ice cream before going home.

"Sorry but there's only one left" Muffet informed, you pouted slightly "Eh it's alright, we'll share one" Papyrus shrugged, blood rushed to your cheeks and you looked away slightly flustered.

"W-we're going to be sharing ice cream like couples do-!" needless to say you were way more nervous and flustered on the inside than you chose to show.

Muffet placed the chocolate Ice cream with two spoons in it on the table and you both started scooping away the cold goodness.

Suddenly, your spoon fell out of your hand and onto the floor "Dang it" You groaned as you glared at the spoon as if it was it's fault it slipped out of your hand "Damn you gravity.." Papyrus laughed at your salty attitude.

"Heh here, just don't be so cold to that poor spoon" He scooped some ice cream using his spoon and moved it close to your face.

He would've looked completely calm and collected if it wasn't for his own bright orange blush that was absolutely rivaling yours.

Your lips parted and you stared at his eye-lights as you ate the offered dessert, Lost in a trance as you stared into his eyes, and he stared back. You whispered "If only this was real.." "What...?" Crap! you looked away, panicking both externally and eternally.

Small tears slipped off of the corners of your eyes as you remembered how harsh the truth was, this is all just a game.

"Y/N, look at me" Papyrus put a hand on your shoulder "Just tell me what's wrong, tell me what you meant by that" His eyes were worryingly observing your shaking body. Your wide eyes, You furrowed eyebrows and your heavy breathing.

Nothing is real...nothing is real...NothING IS REAL NOTHING IS REAL NOTHING IS REAL-

"I-I.." You turned your head away from the concerned skeleton and looked at the ground. You took a deep breath before speaking "What I meant by that was that I know some things about our world that are just- hard to comprehend, even for me"

You explained to Papyrus how you knew the truth about your reality, and about how it made you feel to know that everything you ever knew was just part of a game.

"It's just scary Paps..Knowing that none of this is actually real, that our existence doesn't really have much meaning, you know?" Papyrus nodded, he reached into his hoodie pocket and grabbed a cigarette, lighting it. As he took the first puff of smoke in he looked away and shrugged.

"Eh to be honest kid, I always had a feeling that something like that was the case. The different timelines that only I could remember, the way our fights are and heck even the idea of us monsters does sound kinda fictional when you really think about it" It was your turn to nod now.

"Mhm. My worst fear is.. what would happen if this game is suddenly deleted" You sighed with a small chuckle "I-I mean, it would all just disappear forever right?"

Papyrus was silent. "Paps?-"

He suddenly grabbed your chin and crashed his teeth onto your soft lips. You were surprised of course, but you were also joyous. So you kissed back almost immediately.

You pulled away first as your lungs were desperate for air. You looked up at him, as the same old red hue covered your face and the orange one dusted his. "I also have feelings for you Papyrus but..Why? in the end it wont even matter-" He cut you off once again by another short kiss.

"I understand that, and that's why we gotta enjoy everything while it's still there. Just- take our mind off of this game we live in and just have fun. Enjoy our time to the fullest"

He took your hand in his and used it to pull you closer, hugging you tightly "Together" his smile widened as he saw your expression turn from slightly scared and worried to happy. And he was going to do everything in his power to ensure that you stay that way.

You laughed and hugged him back tightly "Ahaha..Yeah I'd like that" He kissed your head softly

You finally grinned "Together." You whispered happily
