(Kokichi POV)

I look in the mirror nervously and adjust my checkered bow tie and brushed any dirt off my pants. I take a deep breath in and out trying to calm myself when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"AH!" I yelped out.

"Sorry Kokichi, I didn't mean to scare you." Rantaro said with an apologetic tone.

"It's okay!" I replied as looked back in the mirror.

"So today is the big day, how are you feeling?" Rantaro asked.

"To be honest a bit nervous..." I answered as I got out of my chair and started to walk back and forth. "I mean what if they realized their choice was wrong and they run away?"

"Kokichi, calm down if they made the wrong choice then I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be happening, besides they love you with all of their heart and you do to right?" Rantaro explained.

"R-Right!" I stuttered out feeling that something is wrong in my gut.

"Kokichi, you stuttered again." Rantaro pointed out.

"Whoops! Heh..." I say as I check the time. "Oh it's almost time!"

I look in the mirror one more time staring at the tuxedo I was wearing and tried to ignore the bad feeling in my gut as I walked outside.

There was Y/N wearing the most beautiful dress/tuxedo I know I visibly blushed as I walked towards Y/N. Passing the various people me and Y/N knew. I still can't believe this is happening I never thought I would get married and here I am! And before I realized it I was already next to Y/N.

"Hey, Kichi!" They said happily as they engulfed me in a hug.

"Hello, Y/N." I said as calmly as I could.

Soon the priest came out and started to say a long speech of words I couldn't really understand.

"Before we go on do we have any objections?" The priest asked the crowd.

"I do." A familiar voice said as they stood out of their chair reveling themselves as Kiibo. "There is something you need to know."

I saw Y/N's face go pale as they slowly turned their head towards Kiibo. I stayed silent as I was curious on why Kiibo would object I mean he's Y/N's childhood friend shouldn't he happy for them? But then again it could be something else.

"I'm sorry Kokichi but Y/N isn't what you think..." Kiibo spoke.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Y/N has been cheating on you...and if you don't believe me I have the texts to prove it." He awnsered as he walked up to me and handed me his phone.

I felt tears build up in my eyes as I read the messages. It turns out that Kiibo took Y/N's phone while they were asleep and took a video and scrolled through their messages. I looked at the top and saw the contact name was "My Detective~🔎" I dropped the phone onto the ground in shock. I felt my hands and legs go numb as I finally let the tears flow down.

"Kichi, baby I can explain." Y/N said in a pitiful tone. "I'm sorry from not telling you but I never loved you, I only got with you because you were so pathetic and lonely and decided to make your life better."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing and didn't know what else to do except run and so that's what I did.

"Kokichi wait!" Kiibo yelled as he ran after me.

I didn't know where else to go other than back home although where me and Y/N planned the wedding was pretty far from home. I got tired of running and ended up hiding inside a bush and tried to sleep their through the night until I felt moonlight hit my skin.

"Kokichi, please get out of that bush...we can talk if you want." Kiibo spoke to me as I turned my head towards him.

I got out of the bush and hugged Kiibo and cried into his suit that he was wearing.

"Here let's just go home you seem tired, here let me carry you on my shoulders." Kiibo said as he crouched down so I could get on.

I realized that he ran after me and didn't just drive but I was so tired and weak since we didn't eat yet that I complied and got on his shoulders and after awhile of walking I fell asleep.

~The next day~
I wake up on a bed and in a room I don't recognize I panic until I realized that I was in Kiibo's house. I also noticed that my hair was slightly wet and I was wearing a bathrobe and some boxers. I walk out of the room and walked down the stairs and saw Kiibo on the couch reading a book.

"Good morning Kiibo..." I say quietly not to scare him.

"Oh, good morning Kokichi I made you breakfast it's on the table." Kiibo told me not taking his eyes off the book.

"Thank you..." I respond as I walk into the Kitchen and noticed a bowl of cereal.

I realized I wasn't that hungry once I sat down so I took a few bites of the cereal and then poured it down the sink and tried to sneak back upstairs.

"Kokichi before you go back upstairs can you come here for a second." Kiibo demanded.

I take a deep breath and go and sit down next to Kiibo.

"Before we talk about the incident I just want to tell you that I gave you a bath last night and cleaned you up a bit. Also I had to throw out the clothes you wore yesterday since they got ripped that's all I did." Kiibo told me.

"Ok..." I said to him.

"And I would like to say sorry for...you know..." Kiibo said.

"It's ok." I told him bluntly.

Suddenly he grabs my hand and looks at me.

"If you ever need anything then go ahead and get it, I mean since your going to stay here after all." Kiibo told me.

"Stay?" I said a bit confused.

"I mean you have nowhere else to go right? So I decided to let you stay with me, I mean it does get pretty lonely here sometimes" Kiibo explained.

"Well, ok that's fine." I reply as I gave him a slight smile:

"Great! I will go clothing shopping for you tomorrow." Kiibo told me as he smiled at me and let go of my hand.

Then suddenly I woke up from the dream.
