turns out i wrote the prologue:There once was a handsome prince named Percy Jackson; known for his good looks, charming and overall great personality, his strength, and oh so much more. He attracted most girls who have seen or even heard of him.
It all changed on one stormy, rainy night. Cold and shivering, a witch seemed shelter, for her powers were weak. Prince Perseus let the beautiful, cold witch in. It was raining for days on end, and the witch soon started to fall in love with the prince.
The witch told of how she felt, even spent hours to bake a cake. Yet, Prince Perseus didn't feel the same, telling the witch that he felt uncomfortable around her.
The outraged witch cast a curse upon the inhabitants of the castle. The staff would become furniture and appliances and the sweet prince, turned into a beast.
Before the witch disappeared, she left a single owl in a golden cage and a note:
This owl full of feathers is a ticking clock, to remind you of the time you have to break the curse. Once all feathers are lost, you, my prince, and the castle's inhabitants shall lose their humanity. But when you find true love, the curse will be broken. Good luck, BEAST!
Yours truly,
Nancy Bobofit
P.S. or call me ;) to end this stupid thingOvertime, Perseus's personality turned into a beast. Bossy. Angry. Rude. The owl taunts at the beast, with only a few years left, it seems hopeless.
