I opened my eyes, yawning. How long have I been asleep?
I swung my legs so that I was sitting on the edge of the bed. My messy hair was down to the middle of my back. Everything in my room was dusty. I had my dress and gloves on, but my hair was loose. I got up from the bed and walked over to my vanity.
I was definitely older than I was when I fell asleep. I looked like an adult. Then everything rushed back to me. I had "died" because Bill had shot me with Mike's gun. I must've been in my sleep ever since.
I opened up my phone and looked at the date. It was July in Twenty-Sixteen. Twenty-seven years later. I looked at the empty orbs and had an itching feeling to grab one. I grabbed one and my eyes rolled back into my head. I saw a black room until a row of cabinets appeared in front of me.
I teleported to the location and looked around at the cabinets. I noticed names and dates on them. One of them caught my eye as I realized what this place was. It was a mortuary. I'm not sure which one, but I can tell by the smell of death that it is one.
Stanley Uris
1976-2016
I started to cry as I pulled open the cabinet. Stan's older, dead body laid peacefully on the surface. Based on my phone, he and I were forty. We are forty. I looked at his left hand. He had a ring on. I felt empathy for his wife.
I placed the orb on top of his chest and took a deep breath. Smoke slowly filled the orb as I wiped away my tears with my other hand.
"Don't cry, (Y/n)," Stan's voice echoed through the room.
"Stanny," I managed to say. "Why?"
"I couldn't face them," Stan said quietly. "Can you forgive me?"
"Stanley, of course I forgive you," I said quickly.
I teleported back to my room and put Stan's orb in one of the holders. I got an idea and placed six other empty orbs on my vanity.
"What are you doing, phoenix?" Stan asked as I took the orb down and placed it in front of the others.
"Is that my nickname?" I smiled.
Stan hummed in yes. "Anyway, I'm going to try something. I'm warning you, it might hurt a bit," I said.
I focused my energy on the orb. I saw lines of smoke come from Stan's orb and flow into the empty ones. The empty ones slowly filled up with the smoke from Stanley's orb. I heard a small whimper come from the original orb as the copies finished.
"What did you do?" Stan asked, gasping for air.
"I made copies... of your soul," I said slowly. I picked the first one up on the far left. I tapped the orb first.
"Program name," My voice said.
"Stanley Uris," I replied.
"Stanley Uris," my voice echoed.
I held my hand over the orb. "This orb belongs to William Denbrough."
"Access granted to William Denbrough," my voice said.
I put the orb down and picked up the one next to it. "Program name."
"Stanley Uris."
"Stanley Uris."
"This orb belongs to Richard Tozier."
Next one.
"This orb belongs to Edward Kaspbrak."
Next one.
"This orb belongs to Beverly Marsh."
"This orb belongs to Benjamin Hanscom."
"This orb belongs to Mike Hanlon."
I finished with my own orb. "This orb belongs to (Y/n) Pennywise."
"Woah, what is that?" I felt something surge through me.
"It's our friends. Teleport to them. Help them," Stan said urgently.
I nodded and closed my eyes, feeling my body turn to air. Light filled my vision and winced when I heard screams. I saw the black goop spilling onto the table and the skull heads in the fish tank.
"Now, now Dad. Let's take the dramatics down a notch," I started. I was lucky I didn't have my makeup on. I made the black goop disappear. "You've proved your point that you're back. Let's let them rest and have a nice reunion and in their childhood hometown, shall we?" The monsters flew back into the cookies and the cookies uncracked themselves. The skulls turned back into fish and I took a deep breath, relaxing. "Sorry for the out-of-control magic props, everyone. Enjoy your dinner," I bowed.
"H-how are y-you here?"
I looked up and saw Bill standing in front of me. "I'm not," I smirked evilly before disappearing into thin air.
I teleported back home and sighed in relief.
"You could've stayed with them," Stan started.
"Stan, I've been in a coma for twenty-seven years. They think I'm dead," I reasoned.
"And now would be a great time to pop up and say, "Hey! I'm not actually dead and I'm here to help you defeat Dad while also getting back together with Richie!"" Stan retorted.
I giggled. "And what makes you think I want to get back together with him?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Because you moan his name in his sleep," Georgie appeared, sitting on my bed.
"Why do you listen to me at night?" I turned to Georgie.
"Because I've got nothing better to do," Georgie said.
"Go stalk your sister in law or something," I shooed him off.
"Audra's too busy panicking about Bill. Bill is at the hotel with your friends while Mike is explaining the ritual to everyone," Georgie said, raising his voice. "Speaking of them, I'm here to take you back to them."
"Why do you want me to go back to them?" I questioned.
"Because Richie is currently crying because you were just an illusion. He thinks you're still dead. Take my hand and let's go," Georgie said firmly.
"Since when did you become the adult here?" I smiled.
"Since I'm thirty-four," Georgie held out his hand.
"One second," I said, grabbing my purple velvet bag and filling the orbs with them. I put Stanley's original orb on the top and closed it tightly. I took a deep breath and took Georgie's hand, teleporting to the Inn.
