  Boy was I happy that today was Saturday, no school, no irrelevant fake ass people, no learning, just a day of relaxation. Last night, my mom left for San Francisco. It was some type of business trip so that meant it was just me and my brothers.

  Cameron came into my room and had a small smile on his cute little face. "Alyssa, can I watch a movie in the movie room? Josh said that I had to ask you because he wasn't sure if we could."

  I laughed and nodded my head. "Yes, Cam, you can watch a movie in the movie room. Just because mom isn't here doesn't mean we can't go in any of the other rooms, Josh is being stupid. Just don't mess up anything in there and ask Max for help if you need it."

  I watched as he walked out of my room with a big smile on his face, satisfied with my answer. Oh my, he was so adorable. My phone dinged on my nightstand and I groaned, swiping the screen and seeing Sammy's name pop up.

  [ Samuel 💙 ] : Hey baby, are you doing anything today?

  [ Alyssa ] : Other than watching my little brothers, no why?

  [ Samuel 💙 ] : Get Josh to watch them and come on a date with me. I already have everything planned out, please!

  [ Alyssa ] : I'll see what I can do, I'll let you know in a bit.

   I walked out of my room and down the stairs to where Josh was sitting in the living room on his phone. "Hey Josh," I smiled and took a seat next to him on the couch. "I was wondering if you could watch Max and Cameron while I went out on a little date with Sammy."

  "Seriously Alyssa," he groaned. "You're just wasting your time on him. Once a cheater, always a cheater."

  I sighed and looked over at him. "Where did you even get that from? 'Once a cheater, always a cheater' like, where'd you figure that out from?"

  "Mom and dad's relationship," he shrugged. "Dad would always cheat on mom and say it would never happen again but then a few weeks later, what happened? He would cheat again. Plus, on movies they always cheat after say they won't. It's just common sense, you know? Like dad, once a thief, always a thief. Once a gang banger, always a gang banger. Didn't he tell mom he would get out of the gang and stop stealing? And where is he now? Prison."

  I groaned and rolled my eyes. "Okay the last part had no relevance as to what we were talking about. Anyways, I really like Sammy and I believe that he won't do it again, I really do. Please Josh, I always watch the boys for you when you go out with your friends or if you have a date."

  "Fine," he groaned. "But Alyssa, I swear to God, if he hurts you again I will not fucking hesitate to beat his ass. I'm not kidding either, if he hurts my baby sister I will beat the living shit out of him, I don't care who the fuck his father is."

  I groaned, I hated when he called me 'baby sister' or 'little sister', like shut up you're only older by five minutes. I gave him a small smile and pulled out my phone and texted Sammy really quick.

  [ Alyssa ] : Josh agreed to watch my brothers, so that's a yes to the date.

  "Alright so when we get like five minutes away from our destination, I am going to need you to put on a blindfold," Sammy explained as we were driving on the freeway. Okay but where the hell is he taking me that he needs to use the freeway? 

  I widened my eyes at his statement, "You're joking right?"

  He shook his head and let out a small laugh. "Don't worry baby, you're going to like it. It's a surprise, that's all and I don't want you to know where we're going."
