RV or Ravan IS INDEED CHETAN's son from his relationship with his mother before his marriage to Mahima. His mother passed way telling him about his father. She lied to him stating that Chetan left her for Rakshit's mother when he heard of her pregnancy when in reality he didn't know.

He was forced to marry Mahima due to his father but soon both fell in love with each other. He never contacted Ravan's mother again, but after she passed away, Ravan seeks revenge on Chetan and his family starting him the current eldest and his beloved little half brother Rakshit (sarcasm intended).

He caused Drishti's accident in Bali thinking it would cause immense pain to Rakshit which was indeed enjoyable for Ravan. But by coincidence or be it fate, he became her doctor. He lied about her pregnancy complications saying that she can never be pregnant again. But seeing how brave, caring and most importantly beautiful she was, he fell in love with her despite knowing that she's married and that too to his brother.

He targeted Rakshit so that he's line would be cleared and he could be with Drishti. It was also him who messed up with Rakshit's car brake to kill him on the process, unknown to him that Drishti would also be in the car. Since the accident, every day he would come by the hill and check to see if the police has found them or god forbids they found her dead body. In the process, he befriended Shikhar and even met all the Shergills stating he was a close friend of Drishti from Bali and he was the one who operated on her.

To further confirm his sincerity, Drikshit told everyone he knew him and even called him uncle. Even after three months, no clue turned up. The police closed the case, but RV as well as the Shergills didn't stop looking of course for separate reasons. Seeing her from a far, he couldn't believe his eyes that she was alive and well and when his eyes landed on Rakshit, he demeanor changed completely. He wanted him dead, therefore he offered them his house learning about their amnesia and having no place to go to.

He executed his plan successfully the next day. Kidnapping Rakshit and torturing him and locking Drishti in another room so that she couldn't escape. He did all these while they were in deep slumber as he had mixed sleeping pills in their drinks so that they would be knocked out for at least 12 hours which was plenty of time for RV to execute his plan and to get rid of Rakshit.

As he is a doctor, he knew about the dosage quality. He knew how much would be enough to knock them out cold and it wouldn't be too suspicious because the medicine will only take in affect at least half an hour later. But what he didn't anticipate....

What do you all think about this truth? My intention was to keep just one villain for this ff and who else could play the role of the villain except Ravan himself. After all our Ram and Sita are Rakshit and Drishti. - K
