Who's the Head Boy, Remus?

A/N: First chapter y'all!! Hope y'all like it!!

Lily's POV
I sat in my compartment in the Hogwarts express, waiting for my best friends, Marlene McKinnon and Alice Prewett. Why did I say my compartment? That's because, in all my years of going to Hogwarts, the girls and I sat in the same compartment. Sev- I mean, Snape used to sit with us but after the incident in 5th year, it was always just the 3 of us. The Marauders stopped by sometimes but that was because I was friends with Remus and Marlene was dating Sirius. I heard the compartment door opening and I looked up from my book. Speak of the devil. Remus stood in the doorway of the compartment. "Hi Remus!" I said. "Hi Lily. Congratulations!", he said, with a small smile on his face. I smiled at this and looked at his shirt, expecting the Head Boy badge to be there. I frowned. He still had his prefect badge on. "Thanks, Remus. But, I thought you would be Head Boy." I said, confusion lacing my voice. His eyes widened and he said hesitantly, "Wait a minute. Lily, you don't know who the Head Boy is?" I shook my head. He jumped out of his seat, shot me a weak smile and said, "I'll be right back." Then he dashed out of the compartment. I frowned and followed him to the door. I stuck my head out the door and saw him walking towards the rest of the Marauders who were standing near my compartment talking to Marlene and Alice. He reached them and started talking frantically. I walked towards them and stopped behind Remus. James tapped him on the shoulder and pointed towards me. All 6 of them looked towards me and waved. I put my hands on my hips and raised an eyebrow at Remus. He whispered something to James and his eyes widened. "Remus, care to explain to me what is happening? And while you're doing that, tell me who the Head Boy is." I said. Sirius ringed cheekily at me and said, "Lily-flower! It's been so long! How are y- " I cut him off there, by putting my hand up. "Just tell her, mate," James said to Remus. "Why can't you do it?" Remus asked. "Why me?", James protested, looking like a deer caught in headlights. (Yes, pun intended) "Seriously, Prongs? You know why." Remus said, giving said boy a pointed look. "Fine. But you owe me, Moony." Remus waved him off and James turned to me. "I'm Head Boy, Lily," James said slowly. I felt my surroundings go black and hear faint shouts. I was woken up by water in my face. I sputtered and spat out some water. I looked up and saw a familiar pair of bespectacled hazel eyes. Then, I realised that my head was in the lap of the one and only James Potter. Remus, who's wand had been pointed at my face muttered "Scourgify." to clean up the water which was on the floor. "Are you okay?" I heard a voice above me say. I looked up into hazel eyes which were filled with concern. I got up and nodded. "I just had this really weird dream or something that you were Head Boy." I told him. I looked at his shirt because the dream seemed so real. My jaw dropped and one of my eyes started twitching. "Is she okay?" Peter asked. Marlene nodded and said, "She'll be okay in a couple of minutes." Suddenly, the train jerked and I was broken out of my...whatever it was. "Lily?" James asked, hesitantly. I hummed, questioningly. He continued, "Um...we need to head to the Prefects compartment." I nodded and started walking to the front of the room. He followed me. For the Prefects meeting, he did most of the talking. That was certainly not how I wanted my first meeting of the year to go. But, that was just how shocked I was.
