K woke up with a jolt next to the candy berry bush. Gosh, had she fallen asleep? Eh. No surprise, she thought, looking around at the shiny water flowing in front of her. She inhaled deeply, and stood up.
How long had she been asleep? Did any sharks pass by? She glanced around quickly. No sign of any sharks.
She stretched, feeling very relaxed, and yawned. Her wounds were now just a dull ache, but she didn't put past the possibility of their conditions worsening. Her eyes looked once more, at the surface of the water. She looked about the area she'd dozed off in. It was a nice place, with smooth mud, lots of candy berry bushes, several shady trees, and clean water;
K felt tempted to stay there. But her inner-mind voice was quick to disagree with her. K, wth!? it screeched. Just how long do you think you can LIVE here? That is STUPID! it said, emphasizing the last word.
K didn't see what the problem was. She could stay there for a while, and after a week or so, her friends might get worried, and send a rescue team! Then she could finally get home...
No, that iS DUMB. Her inner-mind voice interrupted. So you're just gonna sit sound over here, waiting, with the sharks?!
K shrugged, that pretty much was her plan?
No, you dummy! Can't you be productive and try to find a way out of this darned Forest?!
K frowned. How could she find a way out of a 40.83 billion acre forest?
...how did you possibly know that fact?
K remembered that she'd read it in a magazine.
Then you should also remember, that there are a minimum of atleast five lookout stations posted along the rivers in every forest?
K was so surprised that she gasped.
And you read that in the same magazine?!
K felt embarrassed at her own stupidity. Really, how had she been so stupid? How had she forgotten such a thing!?
She looked back at the river, no longer wanting to laze around and hide out over there. She was suddenly energized, and wanted to run. She wanted to get the hell out of the forest, and stick her tongue out at it.
But how?
K sat down, barely able to contain her excitement at the possibility. She was grinning like a madwoman, rocking back and forth on her heels. What she needed now, was a plan.
K wasn't the best at planning things, but given the current situation, she had to deal with it.
A million thoughts raced through her mind, as the beginnings of a plan formed.
She broke off a sharp tree branch, and began making her plan in the sand.
She drew a squiggly line, which was the river tight in front of her; she then poked five dots equi-distant from each other, along the line. Those were the stations.
K smiled victoriously. All she had to do now, was to walk along the path of the river, and find a station. There, she could get help, and get out of the forest!
K's smile faltered.
She had to get to a station, with terrestrial SHARKS on the loose. And with no food, or strong-enough weapons, it seemed to K that it getting out of Shark Forest would be quite a difficult job. Much more difficult than what she'd initially expected.

SHARK FOREST-a survival thriller
Horror(DISCONTINUED) To K, a forest was a forest. She did not like having no internet, no friends, and no city comforts. Overall, she hated the outdoors (except maybe the air). To K, the only thing dangerous there, were the bugs (and maybe the trees). So...
