Chapter 6. Family Christmas

Erin's POV

Everything has been so great, it is almost Christmas. We just started our break for Christmas and Ivan is here.

Currently I am in Snape's quarters on his couch reading a DADA book, he is in bed asleep and I look at him and smile.

"Quit looking at me," he said and sat up.

I looked at him bewildered, "How the hell did you know I was looking at you?"

He shook his head and laid back down, I went back to reading and there was a knock, from the other side I heard my mom's voice and I went to open it.

"Hi sweetie, did you spend the night here?" she asked

"No I got here like 20 minutes ago, I have been reading." I explained, she smiled and hugged me,

"I got worried when you weren't in your room." she panicked, I explained I was fine and just woke up early, it was probably 4 am right now.

I walked out and closed the door, "Hey what is happening?" I asked and she took a few deep breaths,

"Voldemort will be attacking by the end of the school year and is recruiting Slytherin's now. I am just worried." She sighed. "Mom, I am completely against him, you know I'd never join him."

She nodded and told me to be careful then kissed my forehead, I walked back into Snape's Quarters after she left and crawled in bed with Snape, he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, I snuggled in his chest.

Tom Riddle is attacking at the end of the year. Why.. this was supposed to be a good year..

Christmas came around soon and I am glad I get an actual family to spend it with, and Aiden. She was nice in the beginning but she is ruining random shit like my relationship, or trying to.

I spent Christmas Eve with Snape and everyone agreed to meet in the Muggle Studies room since it was able to fit all of us. In the morning we woke up at 5 and was meeting everyone at 7, I took a shower and fixed my hair, then got into my dress, I looked in the mirror and admired, Snape put my necklace on that I got for Christmas my 5th year, "You got this for me, didn't you?" He nodded and kissed my neck,

"Pretty necklace for a gorgeous women, my dear." he said softly and I turned around, I stepped on my tiptoes to kiss him, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist, we kissed more aggressively, I looked at the time, "Hey it is 6:15, dude." I said and he looked at me and said in my ear softly, "Just enough time"

He picked me up and kissed me, I wrapped my legs around his waist and he carried me to the bed.

After that we left immediately, I didn't bother to refix my hair. We rushed to the Muggle Studies room, I walked in and Snape behind me, Aiden looked at us.

"Why did you two come in together," She asked and everyone looked at us, I scoffed and said "Mind your own fucking business, Aiden."

My mom gave me a look and I smiled, she chuckled a little, I patted my hair down and Ivan came over, he hugged me, "Sup, biiiitch." he said and I laughed, Snape looked at me concerned,

"Oh, Ivan, this is Professor Snape the DADA teacher. Professor, this is my brother Ivan." They shook hands and we had our Christmas... a normal family Christmas,

I sat next to Draco, who was looking at Andy. "Dude you're drooling." I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder, "I wanted to say thank you for being there for me, Harry, Hermione and Ron are Gryffindor, I can't talk to them as much." I said as I ate some cashews.

He stole one of my cashews and I hit his hand playfully, all the teachers that were here were talking in the corner, I assume about the attack. "You are welcome, I get it too." we were both watching Andy at that point, he was wearing his usual hoodie and jeans, I called him over and threw a Christmas sweater at him, "Put it on."

Andy laughed and agreed, he took his hoodie off and under was a tank top, Draco looked away and Andy put the sweater on, "Thanks, Rinny." He winked at Draco and walked over to Snape and the others,

Draco and I watched the fire, "This is as normal as things will get until this is all over, Draco.." I whispered. "I know.." He whispered back, I laid into his chest, he was my best friend.. all I really had, Kaylee walked over and sat below us on the floor.

"Thought you went home." I said confused, she shook her head, and I grabbed her hand, "They don't want me there.. well my step dad doesn't.. and my mom will listen to him." she said as her voice broke.

I felt bad, We all sat there, taking in what would be normal for a while.. I started to tear up at the thought of maybe losing so many people.. it was 8 pm already.. and I got up, some people had left, I walked over to my mom and Remus, "Hey I am going to get ready for bed. I love you, mom."

"I love you too, sweetie. Have a good night and be safe." She smiled and kissed my head. I walked out and Snape followed after waiting.

"You ready?" I smiled and he nodded, we walked back to his room and I took a shower and instantly went to sleep. Severus crawled in bed and cuddled me.
