Today was the day that Sophie was going to get kidnapped. She knew it. She belonged in the school for good. She didn't want to rot in Gavaldon. No, she told herself, she WAS going to go to the school for good.As she was packing her bags, she heard a knock on the door. "Come in!!" She yelled, not looking up from what she was doing. The door opened, and in trudged Agatha, Sophie's best friend. Her only friend really. "Aggie, come here I need your opinion on something!!" squealed Sophie.
"This can't be good." Agatha muttered under her breath as she walked over to where Sophie was packing. "I heard that." Scowled Sophie. "What do you need that's sooooo important?" She said sarcastically.
"You are probably the last person I should be talking to about fashion sense," Eyeing Agatha's black dress and black clumps, "But which do you think I should wear to be kidnapped in?"
She held two dresses up to her chest. The first one was simple. It was baby blue, had straps a touch bigger than spaghetti straps, and also had a slim silver belt around the waist. Don't forget it went to her knees. The second dress that Sophie had picked out was a lavender purple, had a bunch of flower designs all over it. It was also knee length.
Agatha rolled her eyes and shrugged. "Come on, just choose one!!!!"
"No."
"Ummmm, why not??? Can't you help a friend out?"
"Let me say it slowly for you since you didn't understand the first time. Nooooo."
"Okay, fine. Clam down." Sophie huffed. Agatha shrugged again.
"First off, you're not going to be kidnapped, Belle is."
"BELLE!!!???!!!" Sophie exploded. " I'M THE ONE THAT-
"Will you let me finish and stop screaming!!!!! " Agatha said, cutting Sophie off. Sophie frowned but kept quiet, which was super unusual.
"Second, why in the world would you want to be shipped off to some fancy pants school that no one even knows exists??" Sophie started to protest but Agatha ignored her and kept going. "And Third, baby blue, really?? You can do better." Agatha smirked.
Sophie gaped at her.
"When did you learn fashion sense????!!!"
"Never, I was just kidding. And by the way, I have awesome fashion." Agatha smiled at Sophie.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Sophie mumbled looking her friend up and down.
"Come on, let's go and take a walk. Anything to get out of the house." Sophie declared, "To see Gavaldon one last time before I am a princess living in a castle." Sophie added. Agatha rolled her eyes but followed Sophie out of the house.

As the town clock quietly struck midnight, Sophie started wondering where the mysterious school master was. She was almost sure that the school master would have already shown up by now.
Then she heard a cry for help. She peered out of her window that she spent two hours removing all of the wooden boards, locks, and nails. (She usually never does work but this was a very important occasion).
What she saw made her gasped in disbelief. Sophie saw two figures getting carried away by a shadow. Getting kidnapped to be exact. Sophie was not the one that was getting kidnapped. She was the one that was left behind.
___
Agatha was crouching just outside Sophie's bedroom window. She was making sure that her best and only friend was not going to get to be taken away. Not if she could help it.
Surprisingly the school master didn't even come close to Sophie's house or her block. Even though Agatha kept telling Sophie that she wasn't going to get in, she was just saying that because she actually thought that Sophie was going to get in. Her friend was super nice and Agatha didn't want to be left behind.
As Agatha guarded Sophie's window, Agatha saw that two people were being carried away, so she relaxed. When she turned away from the window and started walking home, she heard something coming out of the window.
She whipped around trying to see what it was. She could just make out a flash of pink. "Sophie!!!??" hissed Agatha. "What are you doing????"
"Well obviously the school master made a mistake. He was supposed to come and get me. Since I can't run in these heels can you go fetch the school master for me?" Sophie replied.
"Sure I could get the kidnapper to come take you away forever, never to see me, your dad, or gavaldon ever again. Agatha said super sarcastically. Great." Her friend said, not catching on to the sarcasm. "What!!?? Seriously Sophie, you didn't get kidnapped, end of story!!!!"
"No!!! Not end of story!!!! I have to get out of this horrible town!!!! That was my only chance!!!" Sophie shouted.
"Stop yelling someone will hear you!" Agatha shouted back.
While the two were arguing the shadow had reached the beginning of the forest. He hesitated, looking back, almost like he was reconsidering his choice of good and evil children. Sophie then saw this and yelled "WAIT!!!!!!" The School master looked back one more moment before facing the woods and disappearing into it with two children he had taken. One good, and one evil.
